How to you get to test new machines
I would love the opportunity to test machines. How does one go about this and how are you chosen? Are there any game making companies here in New Jersey, where I live?

I don't know the answer to your question but IGT itself is located in Reno.

AC Coin, but I believe they only do Slots and not any VP. Their big seller is Slotto. They just came out with a community play style like the latest Wheel of Fortune games.

Me and a buddy were playing a couple years ago at Sam's Town in Vegas and we were playing some funky new VP game, I forget which one but it was the first time I had seen it. A guy came up to us and asked if we liked the game we were playing and I replied "yeah, it seems fun so far." He then asked us if we wanted to test a brand new game upstairs and we said sure! He then asked us how often we played and being from California at the time I said about 6 times a year when I come to Vegas. He then said they wanted testers who played at least weekly, so we didn't get picked to test their new game. I never did find out if he was working for a manufacturer or the casino....arghhhhhhhhhhh.
