ok sunshine, as the day of your memorial comes to an end, I know you're in such a better place now--free from pain and suffering. Please, do not worry for us, we will never forget you and the kind person you were to all. Just knowing you made me a better person, I could never thank you enough for all you did. As I watched a program on Journey last night, how appropriate I heard-- just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit...so one last time, til we meet again- Goooooo Wings!!

I received an acknowledgement in the mail yesterday for my donation to Sunny's funeral expenses. I was hesitant to send money, as there was no assurance it would be used for the intended purpose, but I decided to have faith. I'm glad I did.

Rest easy sweet Sonya. Guard over us all, and especially your beloved Spike. I hope his new mommy loves him half as much as you did. You leave us with memories and, as Kenny said, better for having known you. May God bless you and hold you in His loving arms.

I haven't been on here since Dec and just learned of Sun's passing. I had no idea she was going through what she was going so this news is definitely a stunner. Rest in eternal peace Sunshine, you will be missed.

I recently learned this sad news from another friend here about Sunny leaving us. My heart is broken. Becky

I haven't been on for such a long time and just found out about Sunny. She was so upbeat and full of life. Always a greeting to the new and old VP players. I would see her and her pet iguana on face book. What a pair. God Love Her. She loved all of gods creatures. She will be surrounded by them in Heaven . Rest now and be happy.
You will be missed.
