I try to have as little interaction as possible with my fellow players. I don't talk to them, look at them, or otherwise have anything to do with them. I will wave smoke away and I will give dirty looks, including eye rolls, but I won't talk to them. I'm a very private player and don't need any more new friends, especially ones that smoke or reek from 30-year old Tabu perfume. ha!!! good point my granny (god bless her) used to where tabu, as did all her friends in her retirement home....everytime I went to visit I toyed with the idea of wearing a gas mask, but since I loved Grandma Burglar so much I did not want to hurt her feelings, but gahhhhh that stuff is horrible in large doses.....By the way, loveplusone, are you named after the 1980s song (by band Haircut 100) of the same name?? If so, cool, that was a great song during a great period for pop music

Anyone else out there sick of the people who mosey on up to a TITO machine and proceed to do their day's banking while there? You know the type......they have 14 different tickets (all of them for amounts like $12.35 and $8.50 and $16.80 etc etc) and they HAVE to cash them all at once!! It never occurred to them to consolidate them all in the machine they just left playing so that they only have to insert one tix into the TITO machine! Nooooo, instead they monopolize the machine for 10 to 15 minutes putting ONE ticket at a time .......arrgh!How about this: Anyone ever get an OLD c-note from the Bill Dispenser? I am talking about a 100 dollar bill from before 1990? I actually had TWO c-notes from 1981 I got from a TITO dispenser in Resorts AC last Week, and here is the corker: I could not, repeat NOT, insert those bills into any of the existing machines in the casino!!! Neither Video Poker nor SLOTs would accept the old 100 dollar bill! And when I tried to put it BACK into the dispenser from which it came, in order to break it into 5 twenty dollar bills......the BillBreaker Dispenser would NOT accept it!!!!! Unreal!!!!!!!!The flip side to this, in the case of the really old BALLY GAME MACHINES (the ones from 1994 that have games on it like Gold Mine Bonus Poker or the old TRIPLE TROUBLE POKER) will NOT accept the Newest 100 dollar bills (from 2009 or later)!!!Anyone sick of people who walk through casinos and pay absolutely NO attention to where they are going? You know the type, they are walking along with their head completely turned 90 degrees gawking at something or someone in the casino and fail to see you coming the other direction....??? I cannot tell you how many near misses I have had in the casinos alone from these people!

Better than the "old" $100....last time in vegas hit a few decent hits here and there and ended up with 2 fake $100 from out of a TITO in the middle of casino. So funny thing is both were obvious fakes--- hold them up and no line etc! The machine had no problem giving them to us BUT would not accept them back, and either would ANY machine in the casino. So after thinking awhile we took them to the cage and broke down $300 into $20's....two times! We were afraid to just turn the fakes so they wouldn't stick out! Pretty crazy the TITO spit them out....and we were the criminals getting rid of them.

They would have it on record both in the video replay (which can now ZOOM in to such a clarity of detail as to be able to read the serial numbers on a bill if they are visible) as well as the actual tito machine itself may even record the serial number of the bill as it spits out (or passes thru) the dispensing machine......I do know the newest, latest models/versions of TITO machines do in fact record this data, as each bill is scanned/imaged as it passes thru the machine and back out into circulation. But since you did not provide either a timefram for when this happened, or in which casino, I have no idea if this even applies to your situation. But back to your situation......the casino is obligated to address this issue and give you a clean, legit bill if it comes out of the machine and you bring it to their attention right away. the longer you hold on to it though, the less likely you can later claim "I had no idea" it was fake, and since you in fact did recognize it as a fake and then knowingly passed it, you broke the law.....I doubt you would have been in any serious trouble (unless you have a prior record of similar activity, or have some outstanding warrant for something entirely unrelated.) But in this case you really should have turned it in right away.......Now enough about you.....that casino, whichever one it is, has (or HAD at least) a huge problem if it is allowing fakes (especially BAD obvious fakes as you seem to indicate) into its circulation within house.......they run the risk of potentially HUGE fines if they have even a few fake bills floating around being dispensed to customers. They are supposed to CATCH these things right away, that is one of their responsibilities as a license holder. It could be argued that the reason the casino allowed the fakes to be dispensed is the same reason you were reluctant to report it....they did not want to be stuck eating the cost, and in their case they would have, at least in the short term. If the casino finds phony cash in its coffers, the must remove it and report it......therefore they "lose" the value of that cash until the government does its own investigating, and then maybe....MAYBE the casino gets reimbursed (but thats a big if and highly unlikely, and certainly a LONG time coming.)By allowing fake cash to be dispensed from their machine in exchange for a legitmate gaming voucher, the casino is committing fraud, unless or until the make it right by removing the fakes, and/or reimbursing YOU for your legitimate gaming voucher.

I'm sick of people who ask others to watch their machine while there may or may not still be money in it while they take an extended bathroom break. These same people then get mad when they come back and something bad happened, for example: the money that was allegedly in the machine disappeared. In my opinion the person who left the money in the machine was totally at fault and has nobody to blame but themselves.

There are lots of little things to get our goat in the casino. My all time favorite is the women who hold their cigarette at eye level with two fingers while playing right next to you. Too add insult to injury, the air circulation on that bank of machines pushes the smoke sideways right into your eyes. And this is one of your favorite machines that is not available in the non smoking area!

This is an interesting dilemma, and one that I am not sure how I would respond.
If you walked up to the cage, and claimed you received this bill from that TITO machine, why would they believe you? If I was a counterfeiter, that would be a great way to launder bills if the cage just gave me another one. And if the casino believed you, and exchanged the bill, now they are out $100, since they would have to turn that bill in to the Feds. That makes the casino a loser, as DB said, and they do not like losing.
If I get a bad bill (one that machines will not take), I usually wait for a table game session, and use it there. But if I got an obvious counterfeit, I am not sure what I would do.

Yea the worse part was we were winning over about a 5 hour period pocketing a $100 bill here and there we accumulated 1800 or so having fun and drinking. We then went down a few hundred and reached back into the wallet grabbed one and it wouldn't work at all....took a closer look and realized it was a decent fake at best....looked threw the other 17 and found another. If we realized it when the machine spit it out I would have walked straight to the cage and demanded action, but I really had no idea which time we cashed a ticket we got them over the 5 hours. We finally just said hell with it lets just give it a try and took them to the cage in 2 exchanges, lucky for us both cashiers never noticed. This was at the Wynn...shocked me to say the least!

I've received more than a few $100s out of the change machine that looked funny to me. It didn't surprise me as Florida probably has more fake bills running around than anywhere else in the country. So far, if the machine won't take them the cashier has. I once came very close to having a fist fight with a player smoking a big stinky cigar. It would have been funny to watch as we both were well into our sixties. After that incident, I just move on and forget it.
Button punching people are really annoying; especially the people who type with the hold buttons a dozen times on each deal. I watched someone do that for 20 minutes and was amazed they had any finger tips left. Smokers who allow their smoke to drift onto your face are the worst. It seems it's always a nice looking woman sucking on a cigarette like there's no tomorrow. I wonder if they realize how unattractive that is? Uck! As you could image, I tend to move around a lot.
