Met my first long time vp.com regular

Post by olds442jetaway »

Happened just by coincidence. Playing in the middle of the night last night at Mohegan Sun. She hit a nice hand pay on a five play Multi-Strike machine. I was a couple of machines over trying for my usual deuces quads which never came this time. Had a real nice conversation about everything vp related in general while she waited for the hand pay. We both agreed on just about everything we discussed and both are still concerned about the few and far between hand pays in general at Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods too. Just bad luck probably, but who knows. She has met Bob Dancer before and knows all about his method and why etc. I think she and her other half play in different parts of the country too. I got a sense that more hand pays come their way in Vegas as many others have posted. Anyway, seems to be a very nice person and very knowledgeable too. Hope to meet more of the vp.com ers too as time marches on. I wish it would slow down for me, but the chances of that are about the same as my returning to hitting Royals every 43k hands.

Said she hasn't posted in quite a while though still reads regularly. We exchanged real first names, but not site names and I'm not sure she would want the info posted either. She will of course know my site name now based on my post. We will probably run into each other again since we both play late at night and in the same general area. Actually, this is our second time playing near each other again by coincidence, but last time I just gave her a thumbs up when her hand pays started coming. One thing we both have in common is the great disappointment of Mohegan Sun not paying player points on their 99% machines since August of 2011. They only give you use or lose choice credits now that cannot be used in stores or for gas on these particular machines. This has resulted in my point bank going from 8k down to 1k because I use them up for gas, meals, and small purchases. Gotta save that last 1k for a new computer. This one just can't be patched together anymore and I hate to stop using stuff that still works like my knock of wood Saturn with 293k on the clock.

And I would be lucky to be left with that. Especially since she is Irish.
