Re: Royalless streak continues
No this is my first really bad bad bad rate. I normally average 18-22 Royals a year for the past 10 years or roughly 1 in about 65,000 hands which is above the norm but close enough. I have hit 1 since Nov of last year and I should have hit at least 11-14 by now. No way I am going to make that up by years end and no need to tell anyone what 12 x $4,000 equals.
LOL this is enough data to immediately quit playing the game. This is almost as bad as DaBurglar's ridiculous dud rate.
The odds of 200 Royals or less in 13,000,000 hands by variant:
9/6 JoB: 1 in 5,359,354,132,060
9/6 DDB: 1 in 1,571,381,763,282
Now if you play exclusively Deuces or 10/7 Double Bonus, the odds are more likely, but still high enough were I question things.
Full Pay Deuces Wild: 1 in 29,346,921
10/7 DB (odds of RF only 1 in 48048 here): 1 in 239,429
So what ever rigged crap place your playing at, just quit already.

I don't doubt your math, VMan, but to call it 'odds', I think, is misleading. VP is a game of 'independent trials", meaning, unlike Blackjack, what happened in the last hand has no effect in the next hand.
That said, each hand has an opportunity for the RF that is equal to the previous hand.
Let's face it - it's tough.

I mainly use "odds" colloquially here, easier to type than "the probability of this happening".
But if he exclusively played "America's favorite VP variant", he would literally be the "unluckiest person on Earth" even BEFORE experiencing the results he's really been complaining about.

I have completely given up on catching any more Royals. If they come yippie, but I'm not counting on it. As a replacement, until they yank the last of the Double Down Stud machines, I am playing Deuces Wild or Bonus Deuces wild on those few machines left. Getting dealt the deuces quads gets me after doubling the same return as a Royal on job. I have been hitting them right on schedule within reason or about 1 every 30-60k hands. Actually got lucky and caught one today for a nice hand pay of 1600- most of which came home for a change. Pic in my phone, ( old phone) and I don't have the uploading service or whatever you call it to post here. I am still seeing Royals being hit, but certainly not by me. My last post stated that I was back to my lifetime average of 1 every 175k hands. It is now closeer to 188k.
Can't say I am from the land of Caesar, but if you lend me your ears for a moment and read some of my posts you know by now that I hail from Bizarro World.
