There is a lot of overlap in video poker and keno players (often found on the same casino machines) so they are available by popular (and sometimes not so popular) demand. A large number of people enjoy and have requested keno contests so we like to keep them happy, but we do run them sparingly since we do have a focus on video poker as you said. As an aside, even though I've had some major VP jackpots, my two biggest single payouts have been from Video KENO.
