Re: Do I play the bonus multiplier?
I have never played a STP game and probably never will. I've always been able to find better machines in a casino. In fact, I've never seen a positive STP game and I'm pretty anal about only playing when I have the advantage.

When i talked to the programmers of VPW, they indicated that they incorporated every STP paytable available out in the casinos. So, that would mean someone is/was(?) offering NSUD STP somewhere. Happy hunting, shadow.

No, I don't think NSUD would do it for me. Now, throw out STP OEJs and I'd probably be hooked.

Good feedback, seems that I've stumbled onto a real issue with this question.
Real newbie question here but shadowman, would you define "OEJ" for me? Also, if you don't mind commenting on it, since I'm interested in playing simply JoB until I have it down cold, what would you suggest I look for in a machine?
Thanks!

We really should get that game listed in the database.....
The J of hearts and the J of spades are wild cards in the game.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. There are only a few variables in a machine. First, the paytable and I assume that 9/6 JOB would be the only reasonable option. The other option is a progressive for the royal. If you can find one with 9/6 paytable then it is certainly a better choice. Other variables might be STP, multi-play and denomination. Those choices would be personal tastes.
If I misunderstood your question let me know.
Thanks!

No, that was basically what I was asking. It seemed to me that paytable was the primary variable that counted and that many of the other choices such as those you listed were more about taste and variance.
After your earlier comment that you would likely never play an STP game and that you had never seen a positive one, I just didn't know if I was missing something else.
Thanks for the response. I appreciate it!
