What is that "mystery" filling in Reno Truffles?
Back from Reno. We went to the Steakhouse at Harrah's one night for dinner. One of the desserts is a box of truffles. Several people had mentioned them, so we ordered a box thinking that they might be similar to some we had had at Caesar's Vegas a few years ago -- killer chocolates filled with an creamy, fudgy ganache. They weren't. We thought they were awful. The outer coating of milk chocolate wasn't even as nice as Cadbury's, and the filling remains a mystery. What was it? It was the color of caramel, but not caramel. Ugh. All 5 of us agreed they weren't good.

Don't care for the truffles either. The crusty bread at the steakhouse, whatever it is called, is very tasty.
