my big weekend in Laughlin NV
We arrived in Laughlin on a Friday. Before dinner, with a few friends, I hit a quarter royal at Harrahs Casino. Needless to say, I bought dinner for everyone. The balance of the evening and into Saturday, I kept saying I wanted to go to the Edgewater Casino. We were scheduled to go home Monday. Everyone else left Sunday morning. Husband finally gave in to me and we went to the Edgewater Sunday evening. Within 10 minutes I hit my second Royal on a quarter machine. Now when I ask to go to a specific casino, WE GO!!

in all my years living out west in California and visiting all the Nevada resorts (Vegas, Reno, Laughlin)...Laughlin was the only one I never became truly familiar with...I think I spend a grand total of 7 nights total over 15 years out there....my rpoblem was, most people who visit laughlin from Southern California (where I lived and worked) are HEAVILY into water sports and activity like boating, jet skiing and water sking on good ol' Lake Havasu (or lake "Have-a-few" for all you boozers out there)....and the nearby river that feeds the lake.Since I can barley walk and use a wheelchair most of the time, waterskiing and such is NOT high on my list of things to do lolBut the few times I went, I found the gambling on a par with Reno in terms of looseness and paytables.....but I much prefer Reno.
