Hit 4 deuces 5 times

I went to the casino Friday with a friend and showing him the 1 coin system that Florida Phil has, he then hits 4 deuces on max quarter bet, then he goes back the next day and did it one more time. Now I have been trying the system on and off for 4 months, an hour here and there with no real good hits. Sunday I put 8 hours in the system and hit the deuces 5 times for a total of $1,250. While I did not bring all of it home I had a very nice profit for the trip! The wife was getting killed on slots so I gave her a 100 and showed her the system, she played for 3 hours and said she would have lost the 100 playing slots in half an hour!THIS ONE CAME UP AFTER THROWING ALL FIVE AWAY!

I guess you missed the NSUD pic he posted at quarters. All of my deuces pics would have had the same paytable in the picture...that one.

It's been a couple of years since the last time I played NSUD. The Majestic Star in NW Indiana I think? The best deuces game in Missouri is 99.45% Bonus Deuces. :( It would be nice to have a real good Deuces game around here. Next time I get to Vegas maybe I can play NSUD on South Point's bartops! Ran out of time this trip. :(

Wow... nice day! Isn't it great to win money and not give it all back?  So far, the most quad deuces I have had in a day has been three.  I've done that a few times.  Got three in 30 minutes a few years back sitting at the Beau Rivage bar.  Glad you like the system.  I like it so much now that I can't play any other way.  I'm trying it with larger denominations now with good results so far. Very exciting!

I was always taught to put max coins in no matter what you are playing.   The machine doesnt know how many coins go in and end result is the same.   Maybe not from what I see.

Playing max coins is taught because without it you give up the Royal bonus (about 2%).  However, on a negative expectation game, the more you play the more you lose. Most of the time it is a better bet long term to play single coin on these negative games.   The Cheap Video Poker Strategy reduces your cost to play without limiting potential jackpot payouts.  It's not for everybody because some players just get a kick out of winning a jackpot without considering how much it costs them to play long term. 
 
That said, there are certain situations where I will play standard max coins on a negative machine.  One is if the casino is giving me something so valuable that I think it's worth the cost.  An example of this is the Beau Rivage in Biloxi.  They fly us for free, feed us and comp three nights room.  This hotel is wonderful and that's worth the cost to us.  The other is if I'm significantly ahead for the day. I have no problem playing max coins with the casino's money and I have had some of my best wins that way.
