I think this is starting to sound like a "kangaroo court".   I have to admit, I have in my own way exploited this situation and found humor from the many spars.  Sorry, but I guess in some way I have been enjoying it and found it entertaining for some time.  YES, sometimes it seems to go too far...OH, WELL,  dems da breaks. (No pun intended, lol)  How bout someone starts a new topic or maybe just adds ....when Ted and DaBurglar went too far to the "remember when" topic.

I will make this easy then for everyone's sake  (with the exception of Tedlark) because after reading his last post above, with its ridiculous spin on the whole situation in which he blames me for everything and makes it seem like ALL My posts are nothing but "inaccuracies" that HE, and he alone, was obligated and felt duty bound to address for the SAKE of anyone who comes along and meets disaster because I posted something "inaccurate "  on videopoker.com., I can see that he is completely unreasonable, and will never ever cease doing what he has been doing ANYWAY, provoking me and taking infantile potshots, etc.     If any of you who still care even a little you no doubt see right through his unbelievable spiel on what's been happening.....This is my last post on this forum, unless someone makes a post in the future in any thread where they specifically address me or ask me to respond to something.I will still stay on top of reading the forum Topics, and if I have anything really important or relevant to say and I have NOT been publicly asked to respond, I may send a private response to the person making the post.   I will also keep in touch with those of you I am friends with (which really is everyone except Tedlark, and I guess Doris but even with her I do not understand the REAL issue or genesis of her hostility) and who I hope to meet someday, and likewise I will check my PM box and anyone wanting to say "hello" or stay in touch with me I will be glad to talk to you.     I will also keep playing the games here, and maybe I will become more active in contests.....I will maintain my Gold Membership for the near future as well..Good luck to the rest of you.     Best Regards, Rick (aka "DaBurglar")Edited to add just this:

  My intent in posting the PM that was sent to me, unsolicited, was to
show the forum as a group something that they would not have otherwise
been aware of. This was to show that DaBurglar was not only continuing
his name calling and everything else in the open; he was also subjecting
it to me on a more personal level.   After receiving
this PM another step that I took was to send a PM to webman (gosh I HOPE
he doesn't post it here) asking if I had the ability to block DaBurglar
from sending unsolicited messages. He is, by the way, looking into that
as an option for ALL and not just me.    If you
do go back to the beginning as DaBurglar is insisting that you do, you
will see that I was originally cordial to him. Once he continued,
non-stop, in bashing Atlantic City gaming, saying that the games were
rigged (or crooked, fixed, whatever), posting flat out wrong information
and then attacking other people here; I had enough. It was then that I
started responding to his forum posts and by me taking an opposing view
point, and I WASN'T alone, he ramped up his personal attacks on me.   
I can deal with the fact that he was calling me names but once he
started making totally inappropriate comments and insinuations I came
back at him harder. Despite DaBurglar writing how much an idiot I must
be, or how stupid I am, or crazy, or need psychoanalysis; the truth be
told, I am probably smarter than he is. He has always done a pretty good
job of talking down to people and one thing that I have learned over
the years is not to do that because there is always someone else
smarter. I am also gifted physically and it wouldn't be too difficult
for me to hurt a person physically but I don't. I also don't crow too
often about my strength because, like above, I know there is always
someone stronger.   The last straw was
recently when he made the despicable comment about my sister and her
nursing profession. To make a comment and ask in that comment if she
were a successful nurse because she hadn't killed anyone in her past 14
shifts was uncalled for and it should be an affront to all nurses and
not just my sister.   I have gotten to know a
great many people here and I consider you all friends. I also have had
the pleasure of meeting many of you in person and that has been very
nice too. There are a few that know me better than others but everyone has people like that in their lives.   
My primary purpose in responding to DaBurglar's forum posts was to just
try and get him to post ACCURATE information. When he posts erroneous
information about the New Jersey Gaming Regulations I wonder if someone
who doesn't know better will take that misinformation as fact and get
themselves into trouble because of it. Other people have also tried to
show DaBurglar where he was wrong so it just wasn't me.  
I don't ever intend on meeting DaBurglar. Not in Atlantic City, not in
the Atlantic Ocean. This will not happen because this is what he wants
so he can then show that I am the bully for picking on him. I have never
acted in that manner with ANYONE who has such an affliction that
DaBurglar has repeatedly mentioned that he has.  
If Daburglar simply does a better job of posting accurate information
here, we will all be the beneficiaries. When inaccurracies are posted;
who benefits then? I have a the ability to verify the information that
he posts through several avenues and that is partially because my work
requires me to be accurate. If Daburglar simply does a better job of
accepting that there may be other people out there with an apposing
viewpoint; we will all benefit.   To those of you
who have stuck up for me here; I appreciate it very much and that comes
from the heart. Just the same, to those of you who have made negative
comments to me here; I fully understand you are entitled to your opinion
but please realize remember that a lump of coal is actually a diamond
in disguise. Ted Anyone want to speculate WHY he would post about his "physical giftedness and how STRONG he is"????    lmao  I mean is this guy looney tunes or what?     He said something the other day about ME having an ego that wont let me "leave".....Well I am leaving, but if I have an EGO (which, um, I think EVERY human being does since that is part of what being human is)   then I guess TED has a REALLY big one too huh?  And just soak up the TONE of his post......where he talks about him "Having the ability to check up on what I (me daburglar) posts, and where he wont have a problem if I "Do a better job" etc etc......Just who the F*ck does this guy think he is???  lol   this is almost comical now that I have read it againIn a million years Ted, I could never EVER make you look WORSE than what you just did posting this unbelievable self absorbed vomitus.You are so full of Sh8t you must be a walking Ex-lax commercial.   "Physically gifted"......And one more thing.....YOU ARE A BULLY, and everyone here knows it.    Look how you sniped at Pokerforme when he was addressing BOTH of us and the forum in General.   YOU DO need to be scolded like a child because that is what you are.....And now that I wont be posting anymore, WILL YOU be taking your "HIGH POWERED ACCURACY CHECKER-UPPER ABILITY"  and applying it to all the other forum members?

  My last words on this topic will be: I mentioned my strength simply because DaBurglar had also mentioned his several times before and most recently he challenged billyjoe to a push up contest.    In March of this year, about 3 weeks after the 51st anniversary of my birth I was in the gym working out. I was deadlifting almost 600 pounds and I tore an interior carotid artery in my neck. I don't know too many men my age who have the ability to lift that kind of weight. I don't know many men half my age with the ability to do it either.   I am neither a mental bully nor a physical bully.

Ok then, thanks for that explanation.   I consider the whole matter closed.I am not nearly as strong as Ted, obviously.......wow, 600 lbs!!   That is truly impressive, seriously.  But I am sorry you almost killed yourself doing so by blowing out your carotid artery (how did they fiix that by the way?  did you get a graft or was a stent used, or what?  My girlfriend used to work in the Operating room and one of her extended tours was in Vascular Surgery so I know a lot about that)....But I think I speak for the rest of the forum, please be more careful in the future.But for the rest of the forum's sake, just to be clear, I never (seriously) challenged Billyjoe to a pushup contest, that post was 100% total joking and jesting and goofing off....anyone who can read and understamnds "context" can see that.....I'm pretty sure Billyjoe did/does!   here is the thread in which Ted's mistaken point appears (paste the URL  into your address window):http://forum.videopoker.com/forum/forum ... 31&PN=3And the only mention I ever made of my so-called "Strength" was this:  A long time back, someone asked me here in a post "Daburglar why dont you use a electric scooter or wheelchair?"     I explained how my upper body is relatively unaffected by my disability and having been in a wheelchair pushing myself around my whole life, my upper body is obviously strong (as are MOST wheelchair-bound people who can get around on their own power.)     At no point was I bragging or attempting to intimidate anyone....that is laughable for someone like me to even do so.I think we can all move along now......I am off to AC to NOT-challenge Billyjoe to anything other than a makers-mark shot contest!
