Full Tilt Poker Shennanigans
I dont know if any of you have had the chance yet to hear some of the total baloney being put forth by the perpetrators of the Full Tilt Poker Fraud/Ponzi Scheme that was brought to the world's attention on Black Friday when the U.S. DOj shut the site down....For a long long long time after Black friday, there was total silence and rampant speculation on just what had happened with Full Tilt Poker and its company, which had a large number of famous well known professional poker stars/celebrities amongst its clientele and ownership bloc. Specifically, several well known poker pros, Howard "the professor" Lederer and Chris "jesus" Ferguson were the primary founders and operators, along with Ray Bitar (a poker pro and well known businessman/finance guru) were alleged to be the primary culprits in the whole FULL TILT scandal/meltdown. It should be noted that the other two sites in the black friday fiasco, Pokerstars and Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet were charged with many of the same crimes as Full Tilt, but Full Tilt's crimes were viewed by many in the poker community as the most egregious simply because of the high profile of the owners and many players plus there were things that went down at Full Tilt (such as the whole "ponzi" nature of the scheme) that were NOT central to the other two websites.....Full Tilt was also the LAST site to agree to work with authorities and strive to get back most of the money stolen from players.....Full Tilt (as you will see) basically ran for cover, hid, refused to cooperate and took a extremely defensive and evasive stance when the US Government came calling. We now know it was due to its principal actors (Bitar, Lederer and Ferguson, among a few others) were jockeying for position to both save their own arses as well as to hang on to as much of their ill gotten money as individually possible.Bitar ultimately paid the steepest and most prolific and public price, agreeing to plead guilty to a multitude of charges as well as give back huge sums of cash. Not so with the cowardly snivveling Lederer and Ferguson! Please direct your attention to some of these interviews with Howard Lederer who finally agreed to issue some public explanation a year after this whole thing blew up......watch and listen, and then comment on what you think of his whole statement and spiel on what really went down at Full Tilt.......do you think he is sincere, genuine, or totally full of crap?Howard Lederer Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g1wFJx461UPart 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DxUJxGzSO4Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZme4AvjE30

You choose...in my parts...parts is parts...And some are pretty damn tasty too.
I sell what my brood can't eat to pay my membership bill.
Best thing I ever taught them from 6 months on, was to never hold for an inside straight, single line ddb, when the waitress is standing right behind you...and your mama is armed, right next to you.

What I did notice though was that this interview was from September 2012, am I correct there? yes Howard chose to grant this guy an interview (AGAINST the advice of Howard's attorney's) in September 2012, a year and change after the crisis. I realize the videos are very long and boring, but if you can somehow endure it and listen to what this arrogant scumbag is saying, you get the picture that the people at Full Tilt really lost any and all moral grounding in the way they operated that company from its inception in 2004 thru the black friday event and beyond. What makes full tilt so egregious is that SO MANY well known and respected poker professionals and celebrities were involved and used to market and promote the site. It was, at its height, the best and most popular poker website (not the largest though, but it could have eventually become) If they had run Full tilt professionally and properly, it would have become HUGE.But Howard, and the others (Bitar and ferguson), somehow felt it was ok to help themselves to all that money players were depositing....they felt it was no big deal to just keep ALL the money in one big pot, not having a separate account solely to hold all deposits, a separate account for expenses, a separate account for salaries and promotional items, etc. These supposedly "brilliant" mathematical geniuses, these super poker players who excel at things like BANKROLL MANAGEMENT, coul dnot run a simple (yet large) internet company dedicated to offering poker games and tourney action! Howard repeatedly throughout all segments of the interview claims amnesia ("I dont recall....I'm not sure....I cant be positive....I just dont know!") about important and key events and actions and points.....this itself is laughable since these poker pros are KNOWN for their outstanding memories and ability to recall the most minute details of poker hands and action from years ago and who can memorize and recall odds and card scenarios etc. Total Bullshiiiiite for him (and Ferguson) to say they dont know what happened or who did what.....But mostly, throughout the whole interview, Howard lederer never really owns up or accepts ANY responsibility, nor confesses any mistake or wrongdoing......and he NEVER expresses any real sympathy or sadness or humility to all the other poker players and customers in the US and the world who he ruined or otherwise seriously harmed. Like I said, scumbag.....
