I will be there when you get back to Main Street Station. I am at Caesars starting the night of 12/3, so if you want to meet up, and you can tolerate "The Strip", let me know.
I can tolerate parts of the strip for short periods of time, and meeting up is a very attractive suggestion.
But, we chose to not rent a car this trip, so transportation would be an issue.
So, regrettably, I'll have to decline - unless you want to make a trip downtown.

Las Vegas has a downtown ?
Just kidding - another time, perhaps.

Good luck in Las Vegas Billyjoe and congrats on your dealt aces in Biloxi.
I managed to slip down to Tunica this past Thanksgiving weekend as I had driven to Memphis for the holiday.
First stop was to Hollywood and I did pretty well there, hitting: 2's with a kicker then a royal and then 4's with a kicker twice after the royal. I was playing .25 denomination 10 play TDB the whole time. After Thanksgiving dinner I went back to Horseshoe because I was staying there overnight and I didn't hit anything at Horseshoe. I had aces without a kicker and 4's without a kicker once, each. All in all I left Tunica up a few bucks. On the drive back I stopped at Hollywood in St. Louis to take care of some freeplay I had there and I did manage to hit AWAK once while playing TDB. Got out of there quickly to eliminate the temptation of overstaying my welcome there.
Came home happy.

Thanks all. Having a few extra bucks in my gambling kick for around New Years is always a positive.
Honestly, if you are staying at Main street station, just hop on the Las Vegas Transit bus that stops right outside your casino's door!!!! It really is easy and cheap and will take you straight up to the strip!!! I use it anytime I am in Vegas because, being a modern city with long flat streets and all that casino revenue for the city to spend, Vegas has optimum public transportation, with modern buses with great handicap lifts, etc. I'm serious, for 85 cents you can jaunt from Main street station to anywhere on the strip, and then back again, getting on and off anywhere along the way and walking the limited distance remaining to wherever you want to end up........how can you not take advantage of such a thing to see the one and only Billyjoe?!?!
