Re: Horseshoe Tunica
Last time we went to Tunica we took a tour bus to Graceland. The bus picks you up in front of the Casino in the morning and returns in the afternoon. As I remember the bus ride was fairly short. They have brochures inside the casino describing the options and costs.

ko king, i will defer to your knowledge of tunica. i was simply generalizing that there are too many casinos to support the number of players.you obviously have a better grasp on what happened in tunica. what you are describing, sounds a lot like AC. paytables change a little, but the payouts drop a lot.
Well the more I think about it you're right, "now" there are too many casinos in Tunica. As far as my "grasp" goes on what happened I can only refer to what I saw, heard and experienced. From 1996 to around 2005 there was a steady line of traffic always headed south on Highway 61 toward the casinos, after 2005 we began to notice the herd thin. The players didn't just disappear, some quit going as often while others just quit going, I know 100's of people who just got tired of going down and losing every time. For years I pretty much split my playing time around 60% video poker and 40% slots and did well, didn't lose too much money. I think the reason I survived was I quit playing slots and stuck to only vp and I knew the game so well, learned to control my losses because I understood I could no longer play the game like I did for so many years. I know there are many people on this site who believe that vp is 100% random and they may be right but I'm just not one of them, saw too many little things happen over a twenty year period that has led me to believe otherwise.
