DB, agree with much of what you and ko king have said. just read all the posts from 'olds', how he got tired of donating more than he was comfortable with and adjusted his play. he is still playing often and having a good time. and, the casinos are now going to get less from him. as i mentioned in other posts, this is short sighted on behalf of the casinos. people will only get stung for so long and then they will adjust. i have also noticed the number of unmanned seats at VP machines. and many of those in the seats are playing less than max coins.

Are you really that upset because I (and others) consistantly have winning sessions while you moan and complain? ????  your first part makes zero sense, as usualYour second part, about you having "CONSISTENTLY" (spelled wrong by you by the way) winning sessions, is something that ONLY you claim and believe......unless you can provide concrete irrefutable proof that you win "Consistently", this point is irrelevant and has no bearing at all on this discussion.    Oh, and you'd also need to define exactly what "consistently" means (such as, are you saying you win EVERY TIME?  Every third time? what?)     You'd also need to define what "winning" means (i.e.  are you saying if you win even 10 cents during a session you count that as "winning"?  or is it over 100 dollars?  Do you include or exclude the money you spend on gas and breath mints in calculating how much each gaming session "costs" before figuring whether a trip is profitable or not?)See how I made this point Ted?  Instead of calling you a "Liar" like you thoughtlessly do, I instead focus on relevant and concrete issues to make my point.Hahaha.....I believe you once tossed the term around "Shooting fish in a barrel"

Too bad that I haven't resorted to name calling like you have; I bet that just eats you up.you lose The stupidest thing in this latest fiasco of yours is your totally illogical FIXATION on the words long and haul.      Lets see if we can help you understand what is going on here.....1)  Someone makes the point (I think it was shadowman, as usual) that IF a casino wants to simply make more money with their Video Poker machines, all they have to do is TIGHTEN the paytable  and/or become stingier with the comps & rewards.      2) I myself, however, totally dispute and disagree with this by saying that, while the SHORT term (or "haul" .....say a couple months or a quarter) MIGHT  see an increase in revenue with tighter paytables and LESS & LESS comp/rewards for play,  the LONG TERM (or "Haul") results will probably NOT be increased and may be more likely to decrease as players see how BAD a value the casinos paytables have now become.This is not rocket science......MOST businesses that involve NON essential discretionary spending (like casinos) who try to raise revenue by JACKING up prices and/or cutting quality or service end up doing poorly  IN THE LONG TERM/HAUL.I NEVER SAID YOU USED  "LONG"  and "HAUL"  Ted, these wrods were and are OBVIOUSLY mine in making MY point!!!!   jeezus    you once again make a non issue the center piece of your post because you cannot argue or debate or even make a relevant point on my level because it all goes totally over your head.AND this whole attempt by you at  "green eyed monster" baiting is totally shallow and irrelevant.......It is not possible for me to be jealous of ANYONE here, MOST of all YOU, as I already pointed out your claims of being a "Consistent" winner are totally irrelevant.And as expected, you totally dodged my questions concerning this alleged "consistent winning on your part.And while I have had an overall losing experience in AC these past few years, not EVERY session of mine has been a net loss.   I can HONESTLY say that about 1 in every 4 or 5 of my AC sessions is positive.......not great by any stretch but not bereft either.It would be easy to "PROVE" you are the consistent winner that you claim Ted, if it really truly is that important to you.......and if you are, jealousy by me (or anyone else here) is NOT what you will get.    But I honestly doubt you are the consistent winner you claim, especially with the games you typically post about that you supposedly play.

  Actually it was shadow who mentioned tightening the paytables and it was me who mentioned "becoming stingier with the comps & rewards."   I have been a consistent winner at video poker since I made it my primary play in casinos back around 1992.    You can doubt all you want but my playing stats are the exact reverse of what you claim your Atlantic City play to be; every 4 of 5 playing sessions for me are positive.   Most men would be proud that their daughter is involved with a Harvard man but I guess you are the exception there too.
