After working all month to qualify for the 7 stars tournament, a virus knocked me out completely. I only felt good enough to play one session, but that's the way it goes. I will try harder next month. The virus I have is so dibilatating, I can hardly sit up to play. Watch yourselves, friends, this flu is rotten.

I hope you get feeling better cook. It's a tough contest. You got to hit something big to get out of the first round. I have never made it out of the first round.

Thanks everybody. If I am so sick I can't play poker, things REALLY went badly, quickly. My condolences, seriously ....... As a fellow poker player, I know how hard it can be to try and play while you are not 100% in terms of health.......I hope you recover fast!   I recently dealt with a different health issue that impacted my poker play, but I cannot elaborate on it more than that because a certain poster in this forum seemingly mocked, was bothered by, and had a real hard time in general with the fact that I mentioned my health problem on this forum......much in the same way you NOW mention this awful flu virus.I am sure you would not want anyone making fun of your illness, as awful as you must feel right now, so you can understand why I was so dismayed and shocked that this poster would EVER make fun of another person's (i.e.  ME) health problems....lets hope cookie that YOU do not receive the same treatment.......oh wait a second, I just noticed that the POSTER who made fun and mocked MY health problem has in fact already wished you a SPEEDY recovery in one of the previous posts above...wow, go figure!?!? Out of curiosity cookie, what is your favorite POKER game to play?   Where do you usually play????    Are you a strong player or just casual???
