Ted, it is obvious that you need to wait now until the next snow storm.

Ted, congrats on these stupendously lucky hits.....I know you have said on several instances in past posts that you generally only play 25 cent denom, so I must ask, were these $2 denom hits part of a radical change in strategy or did you just simply get "Stupendously lucky" on a few random games played at a much higher denom than you typically play??I am genuinely curious (and trying to learn a few things myself from people who are "CONSISTENT WINNERS" like yourself!)    You do not mention what your final tally for profit is for the evening's action, but looking at your hits here I must assume your total profit for the night was well into the thousands (i'd guess 3 or 4 grand TOTAL profit!!?!?!?!?)Since you win 80% of the time (i.e. 4 out of 5 trips/sessions) what do you do with all this dough/winnings??    By my reckoning, 4 out 5 trips being profitable and judging by this session's results you must pull in a crapload of money and have dozens of w-2 forms!!?!?!      Please, tell me how you handle it without it being a problem (like for taxes and what not.....and how do you keep the casino from refusing your play since you win at such a prodigious and amazing rate and amount???)      I'd LOVE to have these problems and issues!!!!Again  Congrats!!!

I have no good reason to believe he wins 80% of the time. I'm assuming he tends to post the times he does well at the casino. The stories of "I lost $1000 and hit no deuces or aces" are not nearly as interesting to the third party. Those stories are generally more fun to read and get more responses out of people. I wouldn't have wrote up my last trip to Hollywood if my g/f didn't hit that royal! And when I met up with Ted, I was sorta a bad luck charm for him, he definitely wasn't winning while we sat next to each other chatting!

What's more ballsy to me is that he stayed in Joliet until 3am Sat. night. The g/f's family and I went up to Wisconsin Dells on Fri. afternoon. We originally planned to stay until Sunday, but we bailed out at 8:30pm. Took us 4.5 hrs. to get home instead of the 3 hours getting there. Chicago got 20" late Saturday night through Sunday, a top 10 snowstorm.

Whatever.....I dont care anymore at this point, now that VMAN made the post he made and also how he pointed out Ted was out in Blizzard like conditions......That actually scares the tar out of me!Ted can answer whatever and whenever he likes, and if he wants to say he "misspoke" when he said he wins 4 out of 5 times then I'll accept that too......I think we all know it is just IMPOSSIBLE to actually "WIN" that often playing the typical Video Poker games that populate your typical casino these days.....UNLESS someone is doing something really weird to "Skew" the results like saying they win 80% of the time when in reality what they are doing (and what the actually "mean") is they go and play a few hands of VP and as soon as they are up even $1 they "QUIT"  and call it a day, thereby being able to TECHNICALLY claim they had a "WINNING SESSION!"  lol    We've all probably thought along those lines at some point, whereby we all realize that USUALLY during a typical gambling outing or session, there is some point (early on or maybe a little later) that we actually are "UP" and should quit while we are ahead, but never actually do so for all kinds of reasons (none of which are good!  lol)ALl I know is its CRAZY to venture out into a stinkin' blizzard just to play video Poker!I'm debating cancelling my AC trip this wednesday because right now it is snowing a lot here and will remanin frigid for a long time to come......I doubt it will be in good shape by Wednesday Morning.....but we'll see, I will call the Bus company early in the AM and see what is what

I do not know what TedLark's playing strategy is, but if he is 'local' to where he plays (and it sounds like he is), and he uses a sound money management approach (setting a win target, and stopping when he reaches it), I think that VP is one of the few games where you actually COULD achieve those results.

DaBurglar I did not mis-speak when I wrote about having winning sessions 4 out of 5 times. Vman was correct when he said that I was not having much luck when I was in St. Louis when he was playing a machine next to me, I was down but within my loss limit but as I later told Vman I made back much of my St. Louis losses when I stopped at Harrah's Joliet on the way back. If you remember; back in November I wrote about meeting up with billyjoe at Harrah's Joliet. I proceeded to write that while billyjoe was sitting next to me while we were playing, I was down quite a bit and was ready to consider my whole gambling "kick" wiped out. Billyjoe went up to bed and within 10 minutes of him leaving I hit AWAK and then just about 5 minutes after that I was dealt quad 4's and picked up several kickers. These hits put me back in the black quite a bit. I did post pictures of those hits here but I can forward the text I sent to billyjoe if you need further verification.    Normally my comfort zone is .25 denomination video poker but I decided to play at a higher level with a loss limit just to shake things up a bit. I have played at the $2.00 denomination level before; most notably at South Point when I was up quite a bit. I do not make a habit of playing in that rare air but it is a thrill if a hit comes like I had both this past weekend and in St. Louis late in 2014. I stick to deuces wild while at this level.  With regard to the rest of what you posted I will not answer questions regarding what I do with my winnings or any other questions regarding financials. When you have asked those same questions to other people here I openly advocated them not answering because, quite frankly, that's intrusive and none of your business.    I have also begun taking pictures of the single royals and single AWAK hands I get, just for you. I also posted once that I didn't do this because I hit them both with some regularity and they were not so special to me but because you have doubted what I stated in the past I figured the best way to prove it to you was with a picture. But I believe though that you have also doubted the legitimacy of some pictures posted here, to wit; "if they were hit by the person posting them or were they pictures of hits made by other players and someone was passing them off as their own hits?"   MPD001 is pretty close to hitting the center of the target with what he wrote. I have win targets and if I hit or exceed them I am happy. I love winning but I won't get greedy and chase more possible winnings by throwing money away.   Thank you for the congratulations, sincere or not. Stupendously of course.     Edited to add: If you doubt my play I can say that here on this site I achieved game high scores over 40 times in 2014 and I ended the month on top of the leaderboard in several games as well. I am listed twice in the top 10 all time high game scores in 10 play draw poker (I was at the top for about 2 years before my score was topped) and I also have the all time (to date) high score in Hot Roll Poker.

I am sure you know that it does . In fact, it was supposed to snow this New Years when we were there but the storm bypassed Vegas.

I remember that post Ted about your hit right after BJ went upstairs for the night. I still worry about BJ's absence. Even though most of us will never or rarely meet, you somehow get to know folks somewhat here on the site and have concerns just as if it was someone you grew up with.

Though gambling experts believe day to day results do not really matter for those planning on playing for the long run and making good bets, there should be huge losses in between AWAK and Quad Deuces hit based on the nature of the Double/Triple Double Bonus and Deuces Wild games.

Nonetheless, those are some nice hits there Ted and thanks for sharing! Hopefully being tired did not affect your ability to play each hand optimally.
