vman, you are correct. it was a dumb mistake on my part to mix the results of quarters vs dollars.   so i am getting it accurate. the difference between a 8/5 and 9/6, everything else being equal, is an expected loss of about 3 times as much???  the reason for my last gambling experience being a greater loss (other than mistakes), than expected, was largely due to less premium hands??  all of the numbers you did, have certainly given me an explanation as to why there has been increased losses, on my part.  one cannot argue with the math, but my own experience does not jive with the numbers. over many dozens of VP sessions, i would welcome an average loss per hour of anywhere close to $25/hr. i know there is an expected variance, due to premium hands, but, my results do not fall into these expected results. i do not want to speak for the other posters, but i believe many would agree that playing an 8 hour session is costing them more than an average of $200.  again, thanks so much for putting the numbers together and accurately pointing out where i made my mistake, quarters vs dollars.
