As previously noted, I used to play LV locals casinos when I lived in Ca. Nowadays, it's Rivers or Meadows in Pa. Not a whole lot of positive games at my denom level but they can be found at higher denoms. I don't know what state you reside in but I understand y'all don't do so good at AC. One day I'll visit just to say I went and tried it.

k o I was refering to losses in the tens of thousands a year that some have spoken about. If I lose $12,000.00 a year playing video poker that's basically $250.00 a week. At that level of losses I would consider dropping denominations or even going to a reduced coin in system such as the one Phil developed.

I'm surprised you can find any positive games. While it's been quite a few years back I can remember looking for and finding DDB with a 100.07% pay table, now the very best you can find in this area is 98.98%. The closest casino to my home is a sad little place, more of a neighborhood casino and they only offer 98.71%. The norm around these parts for DDB is 98.87%. I remember asking why there were no positive expectation games here and was told that it was against state gaming laws to have them. That explained why I would see a small bank of slots that advertised 99.99% payback. I've always wondered why it is against state gaming laws here to have positive games.

notes I have no issues with you what so ever and my post was not directed at you. I have an open mind and I will respect a person and their opinion(s) even though I may not agree with them. I apologize to you if you took it the wrong way.

What I don't get is why anyone should change their game if they understand the game and make the right choices. I'm kind of getting depressed here, I've seen a few bad years playing and have dropped some dollars but I'm still trying to maintain my faith. What I'm getting at is if I'm running 6 short of hitting Aces w/kicker for hands played during those few years wouldn't the math and statistics suggest that after time that number would level out as long as I kept playing? I'm still holding out hope that it's just a run of bad timing and luck, I'm actually trusting the system, math and statistics by continuing to play.

ko, i have read enough of your posts that i am guessing you are just being sarcastic about the stats eventually evening out. i am often wrong, i may be wrong here too.  i will leave it up to the math folks to deal with your question.  one would have to be a real 'math believer' to assume that your turn is coming and all the missed cards you did not get over the past few years, are going to start showing up in the next few years. if this is the case, a lot of posters on this site are in for some real good years playing VP.

For anyone wanting to play a positive game in AC, there are several banks of .25 double joker progressives in Caesars that have a royal reset at $2,000.Starts at 99.91 and is over 100% almost all the time. Not giving away any special info here these games are in the VP Free data base. Be prepared for a smoky, nasty experience. Not for me.

Well I am and I'm not being sarcastic if that's possible. Truth is I'm not expecting to see a sudden rush to wealth in my case even though the pay tables and statistics suggest I'm long overdue for a banner year. All I'm really saying if you state how horrible your results are they say the math and statistics indicate that's within the curve of possibility, so the math and the statistics work when the results are bad but don't seem to apply for the good.
