What a week...

Post by roveer »

So as many know from my recent postings I've have been playing almost exclusively from Free Play. This past week I turned my 250 FP into 500. I went down on Saturday to collect 375 in Home Depot gift cards and play another 250. Harrah's changed their policy that FP can only be banked for 72 hours so I pretty much had to play it. And play it I did... 10 minutes or so into a Dream Card Session and getting a bit frustrated I upped my denomination to 2 dollars and just about ready to cash out I caught a Royal. 8K. I mozied back over to STP and managed another 2k quad on a multiplier. Needless to say I ran away pretty quickly. Now I have to train myself to go right back to playing my FP and keep their money. This seems to be the hard part for me. Still not catching aces, but if I'm going to get RF's in their place I guess I can't complain.

In dream card, do you get the dream card on every hand? If you do, it seems weird that on that royal hand that it gave you three to a royal instead of a high pair.

No, the dream card is way too powerful to give every time. In DDB, you get the dream card 31% of the time on average. In games where quads are weaker, the average dream card percentage is increased to compensate.

But there are times when the dream card feature will pop up several times in a row and then go for stretches without showing.

By the way; congrats roveer.

That flippin'  dreamcard/Five Star machine in Harrah's  High limit section is a total money pit.......I am glad you caught that 2 dollar royal roveer, but overall what is your profitability on that machine?  Or at least what is it on the dreamcard game they offer?    I've yet to hit anything, although I only have logged "maybe" a total of 2500 hands on it during the past year, since I rarely play above 25 cent denom on video poker.......less than 5% of my hands are above 25 cent denom, no matter what game or machine or casino I play......

Good stuff roveer, did not need the dreamcard to get that royal flush.

Good question regarding roveer's profitability when playing DreamCard DaBurglar; I seem to remember him posting several pictures of Dream Card hitsin the past.
