Saint Patrick's Day lucky for me

Post by julesw92 »

Decided to go to Blackhawk CO to the Reserve today on a whim. Took a $100.00 up there said no matter what that was all I was playing. Hit 4 kings fairly quickly on video poker quarters. Then about 15 minutes later held one ace and it dealt me the other 3 for 2000 credit's or $500.00 was very happy got me up to $575 was trying to hit the royal and it got me back to 2000 credit so I decided to play $100 in dollars switched the machine from quarters to Dollars and played about 10 hands dealt me 3 3's held those hit the button the other 3 came up with a 4 and paid me $800.00. Royal Flush was at 1285.00 and I walked away with $1200.00 not bad for one hour of playing came home. Not even Irish lol.

Way to go jules. Look at it this way; you just about won what the royal progressive was at so you did very well. Congrats again.

Great Day!  We love Blackhawk.   We'll be there next month and can't wait to get back.   Were you wearing green too?

Royal Flush was at $1285Royal Flush at my place was a lofty $1172, the highest I have seen. Machines continued to kill me; lost $30 on lovely FP JOB in an eye blink. I left the casino with $50, $7 poorer than when I entered. Losing $40 after being up was my down fall. I just do not know when to quit. The adrenaline of a quad is so potent that I often try to repeat. The midweek off season ambiance is awful, completely dead.
