Deuces wild pay table

Post by Tjanoski »

Is this a good pay table for $.25 deuces wild ?

If that pay table is full pay what is this one?

800 royal
200 4 deuces
25 royal w deuce
16 5 of a kind
13 straight flush
4 4 of a kind
3 full house
2 flush
2 straight
1 3 of a kind

This game pays 96.765% with perfect play.  I try to avoid this pay table because it lowers the common hand payouts to give you the 125 coin wild royal.  If you are playing quarters, this costs you $6.25 every time you hit a Wild Royal.  The better games pay at least 4 coins for a full house and 4 coins for a 4-of-a-kind. If you can find this combo with a 125 coin wild royal, it's a pretty decent game.  It is common to see both pay schedules in the same casino.  Spend some time looking and I'll bet you can find a better deuces pay table.  Good Luck!

I agree with Phil, but unfortunately this is one of the most common paytables out there. Also try ane avoid the horrible 10/8/4/4/3/2/1 paytable which is also common especially on low denomination machines. There is also another common one not quite as bad, but I won't play it either and that is 20/12/9/4/4/4/3/2/1. This is often the best one available at many casinos. The only one I will play since I cannot find a full pay one in the Ct area is 25/15/9/4/4/3/2/1. That gives you 98.91% long term with perfect play.

I dunno if I would go as far as saying it is "common" to find both of them in the same casino. Tunica for example, only 3 of 8 casinos have the 98.91% pay schedule on any machine. Versus most, if not all, having the 96.77% schedule. No CET property in Vegas has 98.91% deuces either, but I expect all of them to have 96.77% somewhere.

96.77% is easily the most common deuces schedule at quarters today.

Rio and Caesars Palace in Vegas has the 96.77% paytable for quarters from what I remember, have not checked all of CET, but it definitely nothing to rave about. I am not sure about the high denomination Deuces Wild, but for sure the JoB is full pay at the minimum $5 denomination. I primarily hunt for 9-6 Jacks of Better still.

I personally saw mostly the 20-12-9 or 20-12-10 (97.09% or 97.58%) deuces at the local casinos for quarters/halfdollar/dollar. Maybe a handful of isolated machines were 96.77%.

At least Vman is fortunate to be able to play Airport Deuces 98.91% at dimes.

For CET Vegas, everywhere I've checked they've skipped 98.91% Deuces, even on the full pay units that give reduced tier credits. Those full pay units will frequently not include deuces at all.

I can even play nickels. But I hate going to Lumiere Place though. It's almost 50 minutes from where I live, right downtown. Forget parking on busy weekends.

I'm also seeing 20/12/9/4/4/3 more often than I used to. I used to hardly ever see that table.

First, welcome to the forum. Where are you playing?
We are blessed to have 15/9/4/4 98.9% Ugly Deuces available in most of our favorite casinos at denominations as low as 2¢. Thank you La.

Thanks for all the info.   I just returned from Harrahs New Orleans and found 1 machine in the entire casino that had this pay table and it was a $.05 $.10 $.25 so the most you could play is quarters. Others appeared to like this machine and on Sunday some lady played nickels for like 9 hours.   My impression after being in their a few days is that there is a crew of people that play nickels on a lot of the VP machines presumably just to drink for free. I even saw one guy who had a full bottle of wine playing nickels.

I also found a 50 times play super times machine that paid 5600 for a Royal but it was a $.05 only machine. The machine is located near the high limit area by the bar right after you enter from the convention center doors.

Also found a machine with the "Dreamcard" option which was kind of fun but had a crappy pay table. 800/200/20/10/8/4/4/3/2/1

I think its been stated in other threads but the machines at all the bars were crappy pay table and were not well maintained as far a operation. ie, plastic covers on keys with cracks in them. It seems like they are not taken care of at all.

Clarification please - ie losing $6.25 every time you hit a wild Royal.
