Re: The magic number seems to be 2010
If there is no hanky panky with the vp machines, then unfortunately, we have to accept the fact that for some of us, a long run to reach those 99 plus paytable returns could be longer than our lifetimes and we will never attain that percentage. I prefer to still hope however, that it won't take that long or take so long that it won't make any difference to me because I won't even recognize what I am playing. Well, all you need to do is hit 5 (FIVE 1,2,3,4.....5!) Royals in one session! Of course, this is after you hit 4 (FOUR) Royals in a preceding session! One, two, thr....eh you get it.......

I hit my first Royal in 1996 on a Deuces machine and I am pretty sure DDB was already around and TDB came out around 2001. I play mostly 10/6 DDB and mix in 9/7 TDB but since the bottom has been falling out for the past few years I have switched a lot of play over to 10/5/4/2 Triple Deuces and Super Aces.

DaBurglar is thinking of me (as usual) when he mentioned hitting 5 royals in a session and topping my personal session record by 1. 4 then 5. But he is alluding to me hitting the 4 royals recently when in fact it was on October 20,2007.
On behalf of DaBurglar I apologize if his error caused anyone confusion.

I fall back on what one of the head slot techs told me when I
asked him about RNGs. I said...aren't these machines run completely by a
RNG, and his answer was "partial RNGs."Ugh. This is quite upsetting. AC casino?

lost big on near 100% machines.Phil, this happened last week and I was absolutely apoplectic. 99.54% and I lose $70 in about seventy minutes. Just a constant downpour of losing. I became too numb to snap out of it and cash out until -$70.

FAA, wait a minute. I think you sarcastically said my losing $400-500 on a .50 SDB machine real quick was "truly horrifc" if I remember. But you lose $70 on JOB in seventy minutes and are apoplectic? What gives?

Both horrify me; it wasn't sarcastic. I feel your pain. Obviously yours is seven times the beat down. But I just don't expect to lose much more than $20 on conservative JOB at low denominations. I'm hoping to bounce back this week. If I do lose over $50, I may hit craps table to get it back. Next shooter! Basically I hate losing period.

Ok, Sorry for the confusion. I actually lost $800 on .50 and 1.00 SDB at the Borgata last Friday, but that just brought me down to dead even for the year. Not what I was hoping for, but I'll bounce back.

No one likes losing - but it's a fact of life that there are a lot more losing sessions at video poker than there are winning ones.
