Re: Resort fees at CET AC properties...
The resort fees are still $13 for Diamond and Seven Star. Play more earn more. Two nights at Caesars for $55.60 is still a bargain! When I travel to Baltimore to see the Yankees play the Birds it costs me $55.60 just to park for two nights.

Ahh vendors really gouge you when the New York Yankees come to town, don't they? Capitalism at its best...

And how about the $12 dollar beers at Yankee Stadium. I really miss the days of 10 cent ponies. Nobody reading this will even know what that is. Well, maybe 1 or 2 will.

I guess it depends how and what you play. On my trip last week my goal was to earn 1000 tier credits, which with the 1000 tier credit bonus would put me at 10000 tier credits by 3/31. With the Winter Blast Promotion that gave 15000, Diamond for the next two years. I played 5 hand QQs @ .05 for 8 hours. I got 1015 tier credits with a net winnings of $105. That's $10150 coin thru. Had some big swings both ways but stopped when I got over 1000 tier credits.

JM, you are truly a magician. I lost $138 in my most recent session, only 88 TC. All I play is vanilla 9/6 JOB. Half my losses were on 9/5s, which I will dutifully avoid from now on. It was just an all goes wrong day I suppose. Still dazed.

i'll pay the extra $10 to avoid some of the folks i have seen on the jitney. i am also thinking somebody in a wheelchair, would be better off in a cab, that drops you right at the front door. well speaking only for myself and my own personal situation (and "ABILITY to get around"), the Jitney is far superior to most cabs in AC (I have taken enough cabs to know what I am talking about).....first off, the only cabs suitable for wheelchairs that can be folded up and stored are the minivan style cabs....the regular style cabs often cannot accomodate a folded up wheelchair in the trunk due to lack of space or to clutter in the trunk, and many cab drivers resent having to get out of the cab to help someone like myself (although they are required by law to do so....) Most cab drivers remaining in AC these days are extremely unhappy, grumpy people due to the abysmal descent AC has seen the last 7 -8 years! If the weather is nice enough (basically as long as it is not pouring rain or subzero temps) the Jitney drops you close enough to your ultimate destination so as to not be an issue. and the handicap ramps/lifts usually work just fine so I have never had an issue with them, unlike the before mentioned cab issues. For $2.50 it will take you to all the important and relevant AC spots and on most days you do not have to wait too long (10 minutes would be considered a LONG wait and that is rare)....I do not know what to say about the comment concerning "the type of people you meet on the jitney".....I've never seen anything (or anyone) in 6 years that was off-putting or offensive.....I have also used the regular NJ transit services on the other sections of AC (like Atlantic Avenue) and did not notice anything more offensive than I would in any other typical american city......WHile I am not offended by your comments, I could see how others might be.....

Around here ponies were tiny glass bottles of Miller beer.

Ponies were 7 oz. bottles; they fit nicely into the palm of your hand. Olympia beer had ponies too.
