Total Rewards - Reuced Seven Star Benefits
Question for the Total Rewards - Seven Star members out there have you noticed that since Caesars Entertainment filed for Chapter 11 back in January 2015 that your free play has been reduced, no seven star appreciation gift for 2015 and the no cruise for the signature event. I did also hear from my host that all the Vegas strip casinos will be making all video poker machines on a standard payout table of 7/5 for DDB so the casinos are not competing for each others business.

Lost my 7* status when Harrahs closed down in this area, I could have played at the 2 other CET owned properties but one didn't offer the denom I play and the other lowered pay tables. While I can believe what you heard about all the strip casinos lowering the pay tables on DDB to 7/5 I find it amazing that they think the way out of a hole is to cut benefits and pay tables. As a video poker player I wouldn't touch 7/5 DDB pay tables, we have a nearby casino in this area that offers 7/5 DDB and I can't remember the last time I walked into that place, much better options to play here. I can honestly say that if 7/5 was the best offered here I would quit playing, my guess is that a lot of folks would do the same thing.

The general consensus I get from seeing people on other various online forums who discuss about their 7* benefits seem to correlate with your findings.
Surprised that CET thinks offering 9-5 DDB, 8-5 JoB, Colorado Deuces or 6-5 Bonus is not good enough to them, people still play those at quarters, but the dollar minimum ones are rather empty. I do not like the idea of CET strip casinos offering unified 7-5 DDB paytables when not all of them are alike. Not sure if there is any reason to be at Harrah's LV if the paytables are the same as Caesars Palace.

I was in LV in March and the paytables were changed from 9/5 to 8/5 for ddb and tdb at all CET properties. There were many machines (at the bars) at 7/5 but I don't know what those were before, probably 8/5 as machines at bars are usually lower paytables anyway. I did find a few (very few) at the 9/5 level.
I am level 2 Diamond(80K+) and asked my host if I should try to get to 7* and he said "No, it's not worth it."
I hope CET turns around. It's not the same - Lower paytables, reduced benefits, no 24 hour cafes, the list goes on and on. It's too bad as they were a great place to play.
