One other thing I want to say. I think we are all very fortunate to have Bob Dancer participate here. The guy never has anything negative to say, and many of his posts are interpreted by me to be pep talks. Very positive attitude the man has. [/QUOTE]
You have REALLY got to be kidding about Bob Dancer. Here is an example of the kind of 'pep talks' he gives to people that do not subscribe to his singular way of playing VP...

I hope you are not linking that quote about Bob to me. I'd rather not comment on that matter.

No, Olds - that was from what Daily_Double wrote as a response to your original text. Sorry for any confusion.

i remember when dancer made that statement. i doubt he would make that comment about someone's wife, directly man to man. another example why he is such a poor ambassador of the game.

In March, Bob took a gratuitous swipe at me merely because I happen to be a recreational player who has a different philosophy regarding gambling as a form of paid entertainment. Called it silly. In Bob's view, if you can't make money give it up. Sorry but not every hobby, or entertainment activity must be a money making enterprise.

i remember when dancer made that statement. i doubt he would make that comment about someone's wife, directly man to man. another example why he is such a poor ambassador of the game. You must joking.......you REALLY Truly perceive what Bob said as being THAT Offensive???     What exactly did he say  "ABOUT the man's wife"  that is so bad?       As far as I can see, he is confining the scope of his comment/crack to Video Poker, specifically about high stakes and lousy paytables, etc      You just went off in another thread about your disgust with what you see as "Political correctness".......what's your excuse here? But before this gets too out of control, let me say for myself  I think this whole term of "AMBASSADOR of the GAME"  is absurd......come on people, we are talking about friggin VIDEO POKER here!     Gambling......that is it!      We do not need any "AMBASSADOR"/////Bob is not the Ambassador (at least he is not MY Ambassador)....I recognize Bo for what he is:   An "expert" on the topic of the game of Video Poker, as it typically exists and is played in most North American Casinos.....and he has ancillary expertise in general areas like Casinos and related business.     He is neither overly friendly, nor is he a complete anti-social twerp.....he makes his living (such as HE describes it) with Video Poker and all related activity, and that makes him UNIQUE, but an ambassador??  No.....

i used the term 'ambassador', simply because he is the best known personality within the VP community. it was never intended to imply any honor or distinction.  what does political correctness have to do with criticizing someone for their style of play? he did the same thing when someone else made a post. you can attempt to correct someone play without demeaning them. aren't you the one who is always complaining about others demeaning you.
