CC, agree with much of what you stated. i do not see any rallies/riots for the young cop, whose job was to help all of us. i keep hearing the answer to many of these problems is more money, more government. baltimore currently spends about $17k per year, per child for education, one of the highest in the land. over 20% of the working population works for the government. who knows what percentage are receiving some form of government assistance. how much government money is enough? nearly every large city in america had or continues to have neighborhoods broken down by ethic groups. i doubt that some young asian worker was immediatley welcome to work in little italy or to work in some irish pub. each group has had it's challenges. one thing these groups typically had in common was to build/create businesses in their community and protect that community. i keep asking myself, what would be the reaction of that asian kids parents if they found their child burning down businesses in their own community? would not happen, they are taught to respect their neighbors. at some time or another the answer is to solve your own problems and to have respect for yourself. i do not know when it started, but some of america has lost pride in themselves. blame all your problems on someone else.

notes you will not see any rally's for the now deceased New York officer nor will you see one for the Oak Park (population approx 52,000) officer senselessly shot outside his home on the east side of Chicago this past Sunday. Add to it no rally's for the other 2 dead police officers killed a couple years ago in Chicago. The animal that committed these killings is waiting for a now convened jury to come back with guilty verdicts and then we will be supporting this murderer for the rest of his natural life.

Black on black crime in Chicago is almost out of control and unless there is a major shift, be prepared for a just as bloody and shots fired summer in Chicago as the last few.

  i do not think it will be limited to just chicago. it is going to be violent summer in a lot of big cities.  i know there are many who love the idea of living in a big city, lots of advantages. i will stay in the burbs, safer.

The Baltimore cops have lawyered up and don't forget, 3 of them are black. Wait until they are cleared of some of the more serious charges based on the prosecutor's overcharging them, and then watch what happens.
