Coushatta 5/31/15

Post by Lucky Larry »

Overnight trip to Coushatta. Started out great getting dealt 5-9's on 50 hands 5¢. Followed the 9's with several nice moderate hits switching between 5¢ and 25¢ as the timing was on or off. We played from 5pm -2am with an hour for dinner. We love going over on Sunday night since we usually have our choice of machines. Moderate hits kept us playing so we could keep the # of hands played count up. Estimate about 50% 5¢ play @ (50 hands/deal) and 50% @ 25¢ play (25 hands/deal).

Replenished Sweet C's bank roll which was down to almost zero and returned to my machine. Caught 4/RF but none hit (25 hands), then dealt 4-3's DWB (25) but only one hit. Typical play good moderate hits then nothing but kept feeling the big hit was going to come if I could stay in long enough.

Finally caught this RF.

At that time I was able to replenish Sweet C's bank roll a second time she had gone through her money still with no hits. She finally came back to the 50-100 play machines. Down to $26 left in her third bank roll and having moved to only 5 hands she caught this RF.

Switching to JOB since my DW/DWB timing was off I caught several quick quads, missed quads holding 3-6's and then about 5 minutes later adding a couple of hands to try to alter my timing I caught this beauty. My second straight trip with a dealt quad on JOB - my new "favorite game."

Thanks. Played a couple of times but don't like the odds and lack of control.

Thanks Jim.

As larry said, paybacks on keno would bleed a lot of money at his typical stakes, unless he knew the hits were coming!

Decent hits for an eight hour session! At least I assume...I'm lucky to play multiline for an hour, and it's never 25 lines.

Glad you were able to get the dealt quad on the game that mattered the most.

Vman I was joking about keno but after my recent keno hit at Four Winds I'm not complaining: a $2,350.00 jackpot gleened from a .25 bet. I had less than $50.00 invested in the keno machine.

Congratulations on your keno hit. I've watched several people at Isle play multi-hand keno and catch the really big hits. They would play 15-20 cards and often used a block of numbers strategy. Watch Cheryl hit over $20K one day but she was really putting the $ but catching the hits to keep herself above water and high and dry on the big hands.

I'm not familiar enough with keno but have played a couple of 25¢ cards on the machine next to me while playing VP. Never any big hits.
