Re: A Royal Save
Holy smokes! Considering your huge bankroll and the massive swings in this game, what are your session goals?

A number of posters on this site have told stories of coming back from a deep hole. I have one to add. I was taking a serious beating from Ultimate X and was about to call it a night with my pockets just about empty. The above hand allowed me to climb out of the ditch and actually take about 3K home. It was quite the roller coaster ride
Way to go, I just about got wiped out the other day but finally sat down in front of machine that felt some pity for me. I too was about to call it quits because it was a horrible night, not one single quad. Finally I hit quad Kings, a few hands later, quad 7's, then the quad Aces popped up, pretty mush figured that would put that machine back to sleep but it dealt me quad Kings, decided to push my luck a bit further and caught the quad Aces again. The machine did finally come back to it's senses but I hit the road tickled to death that I had came back from the brink of death and have survived another day to battle the beast at a later time. Believe I told this story last week nut a fellow was playing two machines side by side $5 denomination at max play and was taking a pretty severe beating, so were the machines, he was slapping the buttons like a red headed step child. He finally tilted both the chairs forward and asked if I would watch the machines for him because he had to go het more money. He returned about 30 minutes later and started over again, after a few minutes he caught quad Aces with kicker for $10K and caught quad 3's on the other machine. He thanked me watching the machines for him and I told him I was glad to see him make a comeback, he said that he was still down over $10K for the night.

Hey Mugrat, as a UX player myself I have experienced the same up's and down of the game. I think this is what makes the game more interesting and feeds the adrenaline rush! It is definitely a love hate relationship with the game, but that is what makes it more interesting.

JIMDUECE'SWILD - I used to be a regular at Harrah's AC, but completely switched over to Philadelphia's SugarHouse due to a great staff that is the friendliest I've ever met in a casino.

phnxnmartini- Your comment about a love/hate relationship with this game is absolutely spot on, so enjoy the wild ride (madness) and go find some of those 10X and 12X multipliers!

ko king - Great story about fighting back from the edge of the cliff. Good luck on your next battle with the beast! Also, I can totally relate to being congratulated on hitting a jackpot, and knowing inside that you are still way down. I always thank the well wisher, but try not to share how much the jackpot really cost me.

Congrats on the win and money going home. My wins have not been that big but they sure are nice to hit. I had one night like yours that I had really lost when suddenlly I had aces dealt. I was playing five so was surprised to get two kickers as well. Had one 8 times and three times on the other ones. Nice win and went home with money to come back and play again.
