I'm kind of looking for a reason to sneak off to Vegas by myself.  My wife doesn't care for it and I sure would like to see one of those elusive 100% games everyone keeps talking about. Any of you Florida guys want to go along?
Wish I could, but with my work situation I don't see any chance for at least another year. Another hotel recommendation for you if you get to go, and you don't need a 5 star resort is the Gold Coast. The rooms are inexpensive but clean and nice enough and there are several cheap food options compared to the outrageous food prices on the strip. And the real advantage is that right across the street is the Palms where you can find full pay deuces wild at .25 denomination. And if you decide to try a little DDB ( I know that is not your favorite) they have 10/6 paytables!

Thanks for the great info. I have a lot of time on my hands and enough money to play video poker as much as I want as long as I stick to quarters.  It would be nice to find someone in a similar situation that could go on a few trips with me.  My wife loves video poker, but she's really into her real estate career and will be writing contracts right up until the last minute she's alive.  I think someone will be texting her in heaven about a bad home inspection or mortgage problem.

Can't get away now for too long Phil, due to the folks situation. However, if you find your way back to Mohegan, I am pretty sure I could arrange a free room for 1 or 2 nights and all of the food would be on me in the Lounge. If I remember, you turn early, but are up early too to play. I am kind of the opposite, but will still be up early from playing all night the night before. That is mostly the only time I can get away for now. Sometimes the Mrs. stays at home too as she has better things to do.

I am all for this, either Vegas, or AC are two easy options for me, especially AC.I'd also love a RENO get together, as I think this would be far more relaxing and meaningful since VEGAS is so overwhelming and crowded....Reno is all about gambling with none of the BS distractions, and in my opinion has just as good if not better games and food......even though I have not been there in several years!

A while back, a group tried to organize a VP.Com M&G in AC. The casinos shy ed away from sponsoring an event, since with Internet Gaming tied to their properties, VP.Com looked like a competitor, even though this is not a gambling site.
