Love Quickies - 7/7/15 Coushatta
Quick trip to Coushatta. Generally holding our own but no big hits until dinner. After dinner came back to my favorite multi-hand machines. Switching back and forth between DW / DWBonus up and down.
10:49:
Sweet C was playing next to me. Looking at the hand pre-redraw I said aloud, "Come on guys help me out!" When I laughed and said "Thank you." she just shook her head and said "OMG"
11:02:
As often the case I lost my timing and switched a few hands later to DWB. Caught the 4 RF and 13 minutes later was smiling with this RF.
]
After that it was pure Arctic timing. After going through a couple of hundred we called it a night.

Nice Royals! But even with those, you still lost? Ugh. I dunno how you can stomach 25 play like that.

No, I came back up $1K but we're a community partnership so we help fund each other's bank roll when one is winning and one is down.
It's called stress tolerance.
The nerves do hit us both. We used to play single hand $1 VP before we retired. Now its usually much lower denominations.But, I've gotten hooked on multi-hand because I like getting some sort of pay back. (A pure Maslow Stimulus Response Theory) $5/hand single hand is win or lose. $5/multiple hand usually gives something back. So now I play almost 100% multi-hand. Sweet C used to freak out thinking of playing 25+ hands (5¢) and now will go up to 50 handsI (5¢) and now is becoming more relaxed playing multiple hand 25¢. When she is losing she moves to single hand or back to low denomination multi. Stimulus/Response.
I also practice playing multi-hand higher denominations every night. I start out by changing the options to my bank roll amount/denomination and then playing game at the pay table I play. I'll play through this bank roll or 200-300 hands a night to practice. This gives me experience about how my real play may go. I;ve also learned to also carry gum with me because I often catch myself gritting my teeth while I play multi-hand 25¢.
Second, it depends on our bank roll. We been on a roll this year and have hit multiple AWAK and 22 RF .25¢ or greater since January. For example on one incredible trip (May 2-3) we had my dealt RF for $10K on 50 hand 5¢; later that night playing 25¢ Sweet C and I both caught a 3-RF on one deal of multi-hand within a few minutes of each other for a mind blowing $16K trip. The roll has continued with my $5K from dealt 100 play Deuces (5¢); Sweet C' catching a $1RF having moved up from 25¢ and kept hitting so moved up denominations until hitting the RF and on other trips catching $1 AWAK twice on single hands. This has all lead to a much greater bank roll to play higher denomination multi-hand. This has lead to greater hits - four 25¢ RF in the past two trips. We win we play - we lose we work on our "honey do list".
