When I get a hand pay they usually send two people to pay me. For $2,000, I give both girls $20 each. $4,000 I give them both $50. I once hit two $4,000 royals in 20 minutes and gave them $100 each. I don't know if I'm tipping too light or too heavy, but I like to help hard working people. I image they get a lot of crap and it's nice to see them smile.

The first time I got a hand pay was for a 50c royal. I was so excited that I never even considered leaving a tip. Then I looked up and saw some disappointed faces after they counted the last hundred out in 20's. They also were whispering something to each other and looked back at me like I was some kind of cheapskate as they walked away. That was five years ago, and I'm happy to say that I have never left a hand pay tip since, even on a $2.00 royal I hit at the Palms. Those people who talked under their breath about me spoiled it for everyone else after that. Just the way it is, but I have saved myself a lot of money too.

So you're penalizing every other slot attendant because you made a mistake by forgetting to tip? That's weak. If you are too cheap to tip or you don;t believe in tipping, just say so.

That's correct, I was too wrapped up in what was going on, and the slot attendants were only interested in paying me out those last five 20's so they could get a tip..which ruined it for all slot attendants who hand pay me going forward. I probably did believe in tipping up until they stared me down for not tipping. Now I wouldn't tip attendants if they wore signs saying their children were starving. If I'm considered cheap because of that then that's the way it is. I have the last laugh because it's not me giving away free money to people who don't deserve it.

Standard operating procedure in the service industry. Just weigh us down w more bills since you don't trust us to tip! Any way of getting a check at the outset and bypassing the show biz aspect? Just asking theoretically as I'm a low roller.
