Re: Best run I've ever had at FPDW
I was watching a guy near me last night at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson (my local casino). He was playing $5 VP machines and hitting quads on all four machines he was playing. Actually he was hogging all four. Kind of annoying if someone else wants to sit and play.

The other day a lady was sitting next to me complaining about a guy that was playing two machines at once. The casino wasn't crowded and I told her I didn't see anything wrong with it. She was really annoyed so I left her alone. I have seen casinos with signs stating they don't allow players to play more than one machine. If there are plenty of seats, who cares? How do you feel about this?

I have no problem when there are vacant seats at the bank we want to play. Some casinos have signs to this end, i.e. no playing multiple machines if there are no free seats.
What annoys my wife and I more are people sitting at machines who are not playing when no other seats are available. Sometimes it is a spouse, etc. watching someone playing at the next machine, and of course CET's capping of machines when there are no free seats at the bank.

My first was on 1 coin quarter machine in a local bar about 35 years
Paid 100.00 dollars but for a 21 year old kid it was the start lifetime quest to hit more royals.
Last one was 3-13-15 Hit .25 royal, Then hit twice on .50 TDB w kicker for 1000 ea switched to 1.00 machine put one twenty in playing 10.00 hit quad jacks for 500. when back to royal machine and hit quad 3 w/k for 500.00
The best part never played a dime of my money started promo cash from Majestic Star in Gary

Would you and other posters be interested in sharing your first Royal story? Mine was in hearts and I held just a single Ace. Palms Casino, slant top machine near the check in area.My first royal was also hearts, got the K with four junk cards, held the K and got the J, then the A, then the 10, and finally the Q for 1500 credits (betting 5 on a max 20 bet so no 800 to 1 payout, yeah I should've been betting 10.... )

Always amazes me when I see someone playing two machines at once. Some people just can't lose their money fast enough.

Runs like that don't happen everyday. I'm a VP newbie and will be making a second trip to AC next week. Hope to have a similar story to share

If the casino isn't crowded and it's earlier in the day I have no problem with it. But if it's a crowd then it shouldn't be allowed.

Hope everyone gets to experience one of these runs at least once, maybe more if you play a lot. My best run happened about 5 years ago when I went down to Ballys in AC with $400 to play the .25 BP triple plays. Within a half hour, hit a Middle line royal for just under $1,200. Now, I figured I had the bankroll to play the 9/6 dollar JOB at Borgata, which I normally did at that time, but knew $400 wouldn't cut it. Again within a half hour of playing $1.00 JOB, hit a $4,000 royal. OK, now what, I figured. Still had about $200 in credit on the machine, so took a flyer on $1.00 DDB. No royal this time, but dealt 4 aces with a 10. Dropped the 10 and drew a 4. Only 3;30 in the afternoon and still had an hour left before I need to leave. Played another hour and mostly lost, but hit another 4 aces without a kicker on DDB just before 4:30. Turned $400 into $7,500 in one afternoon. My best run ever.

Hellacious run, Car. I think I will play at Borgata next week after supplementing my bank roll with Caesars vouchers. I can do with a change of scenery, and the jitney trips will force me to be somewhat social. My six month royal anniversary is Friday, and it would be great to relive the thrill! Two Caesars day trips this weekend. Great on Sat, but unfortunately I chose to return and gave back most of it yesterday.Easy come easy go deal.
