Category Exploitation at its best...
I'm hoping one of the many, many intelligent people on here can answer a tech question for me.
Comcast has recently (at no cost, hmmmm) increased my internet speed about 50%. Nice, very fast; but I can't help but notice that since this change my games on this site do not perform as fluidly as before the speed increase. This is most apparent on games with alot of animation, bells and whistles(my faves, of course). lol
Now, my pc is no young model, about 6 yrs old and I'm wondering if the poor performance is coincidental for its age; or maybe I could be right about the speed adjustment.
Help????

How recently? As I recall it's been a couple months since most if not all of the games here were switched from Flash to HTML5. Wonder if that might be the issue?

My speed change occurred in the last week or so, much later than the format change. Funny, had that issue when the format changed; then worked wonderfully until recently. Thank you for your suggestion, Fatz, I appreciate it.

I am more of a dinosaur that computer geek, but I still have a DSL connection and the games work fine. I am not sure speed is the issue here. Edited to add, computer is a fairly new HP Pavillion laptop. I do notice that it helps to run C cleaner, disk cleanup, and Mcafee quick clean regularly to get rid of the temp file stuff built up from games, switching from site to site, etc.

Another great suggestion, thank you Olds. Had that thought and did the same with little to no improvement. Have tried numerous times with same results.
I am very grateful for the help, guys. Keep those cards and letters coming in, please Olds, I would imagine you remember that hysterical quote signature and to whom it belonged; it obviously was one of mine as well. lol

Problem solved, mystery continues. LOL I have to give myself more credit these days. Out of frustration; I ran the games under Firefox, LIGHTENING FAST. Very happy gal here. Now, all I need to do is ask Webman & Co why I do not get a chat as I play using this browser. Thanks for the help, guys.
