Coushatta/GN 8-7-15

Post by Lucky Larry »

Had two nights at Golden Nugget so we headed over late Thursday night to Coushatta since that is our preference to play VP. My play was horrible and my timing was so off it was nothing but down...down... down. Meanwhile SweetC was having a real run of good luck.   Playing her favorite single hand machine she kept moving up in denomination from 25$-50$ - $1 where she held 2-3's and caught 3WAK.

Using this to give her a better bank roll. She continue and @ 2:31 caught AWAK on TDB holding just an Ace.

Six minutes later the RF hit.

An hour later she was rewarded again.

My losses continued from Thursday through Friday and Saturday. Playing at GN Sweet C was dealt Aces and caught a kicker on Saturday night 25¢. Giving me so much need bank roll money I was able to at least repay her. Moving to DDB which I rarely play I caught 2WAK, then 3WAK and finally this partial make up RF.

It was followed up by AWAK on DDB a few minutes later and then my timing went to bed with me following shortly thereafter. A losing session overall for me but Sweet C at least came home with her original bank roll.

Congratulations to one of you at least. All that hitting to wind up at Point A. What a crazy game we so enjoy. I broke even Sat, but returned on Sun to meet a $60 loss plus $22 won from free play in three hours. Plus half of my casino's JOB full pay machines fail to hold a card now. The neglect and decay have hit new lows. I'll take it as a sign. Perfect excuse to ditch staid JOB for the fun/excitement of DW.

Well Double L; every winner is balanced out with a loser. I either read that once in a fortune cookie or it was a line in a Bruce Lee movie? Can't recall...

Oh well, atleast you both didn't come home losers and better luck next time champ.

Glad to see you guys lend each other money.  My wife's been on a hot streak also lately with two royals in less than a month.  I've been helping her for the last year.  Now it's her turn.

I'm a firm believer in the "Golden Rule" - treat other people the way you want to be treated. Rarely are we both on win streaks at the same time. Besides Texas is a Community State.

More than that....I came home with this month's gift...a large Coushatta "Gumbo" spoon to go with my previous month's Gumbo pennant, apron, spatula, crawfish serving trays,...good thing tailgating season is coming soon. Oh wait those are family Christmas gifts....
