Re: accuracy
Thanks for the answer Bob. I figured you probably scout every single machine at the pay table in each casino you play with only a few available to make your +EV at that level so that makes perfect sense to me. Having only 2 or so options shocked me some, I assumed there would be 5-10 available. Talk about doing your homework!

There are players who believe that a losing player "loads up" a machine making it much more likely to pay off for the next guy. these players are mistaken. whether the last guy lost a ton or hit three royals in three hours --- how the machine plays going forward will be the same.

Yes, of course. I do in fact know this intuitively. I was writing out of bitterness and frustration with said machines. It's all I ever get from them. The poor pay tables and high denoms are reason enough to shun them. I didn't have to throw in old wives superstitions!

Depends on the casino, but in non-Vegas casinos, less than 10 "full pay" units is somewhat common.

Depends on the casino, but in non-Vegas casinos, less than 10 "full pay" units is somewhat common. Full pay or not, I'm looking for $5 + machines where the game + club + promos + mailers exceed 100%. Even when they exist, they are generally 1 or 2 max.at many casinos, they do not exist at all. Sometimes they exist only if you can discover an angle that most others can't see. And the ones that exist today --- less than half will exist a year from now. But there will be others to replace them --- usually.Bob
