How did this casino host know my name?
The last time I was in Vegas I was approached by a man in a suit that worked for the casino. He said you are "my name" and thanks me for my play and all that stuff. But afterwords I thought to myself how did he know my name? I had never seen him before. He wasn't there when I checked into the hotel or anything like that to here my name. Does the casino have some type of monitor that shows all the machines at a casino and the name of the person playing them. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I had this occur a month ago, but the host gave me an incorrect name. I told him that he was mistaken, and he walked away! I was wondering why they would concern themselves with my guppy play.

Well I was just sitting at a machine and he came up to me out of the blue and knew my name. I just thought it was kind of odd, maybe I would rather stay off the radar.
