Friday NIght Slowdown...?

I've noticed for several weeks now, that come Friday night (usually post 7pm cdt) that game performances start lacking and seem to continue to do so throughout the weekend. Don't get me wrong; I enjoy playing and love this site; but It does interfere with the enjoyment of the games. I remember a player whose name no longer exists on this site used an analogy I would like to steal- Does someone stop feeding the hamster?

the last couple of nights i have experienced games loading very slow especially on contests.just had to try 3 times before i could get weekly to load.

Lately, the add feeds interrupt the game - I understand the need for the ads but they way they come onto the page both top and side negatively affects the game feed and the enjoyment of the site.
