So I started with Jacks or Better at Tampa Hard Rock, and got 4 of a kind 3 times in the first 30 minutes or so. I then decided to switch it up to double double thanks to learning how to play here. I hit the picture below and couldn't believe it. I cashed out and walked around a bit and got another drink. I came back to the machine and got 4 4's and then some other combos. Ive never had so much fun. I was then teaching others to play. It was a great time.
4 of a kind SEVEN times in 2 hours. And this doozy

The main problem with DDB is that if you hit a jackpot early in your casino experience, you may become addicted. The variance will absolutely destroy players in the long run. I suggest flight to safer games.

It hasn't destroyed my g/f yet, and she's shockingly risk adverse. She got dealt Aces and pulled the kicker at DDB very early on into her dabbling into VP. She'll play Bonus if it's clearly the better game, but she'd rather play DDB. Problem with her liking DDB is when things go bad, she's also willing to quit in 15 minutes.

I am still new to the varying games with video poker. Ive always just played Jacks or better. What are some safer versions and why?Thanks!
