Keyboard Delays
I'm still experiencing short lock ups using the keyboard. I'm using IE7 and the delays are clearly tied to sending results back to the server. They were getting pretty long a few days ago (5 seconds) so I decided to reboot my computer. Low and behold the delays disappeared ... for a short time. Now they have started creeping back in and increasing in length. The lock ups effect the keying I do in any of the IE7 tabs. It looks to me like some chain keeps growing and growing (or something similar).

I'm curious whether it is the sending of the data or the refresh of the scoreboard that is causing this. I have experienced it momentarily at times but it was always very brief, as if something was loading. I'm also curous if it happens without any other tabs open, as the loading of ads etc in other tabs could also slow down the flash app. Also, if this particular to single line or also the other games? Perhaps try switching games when you experience this and then return to the game and note whether it is slow on the other game as well as on the return.

The delay is in all games but is most prevalent in single line because it plays faster. It also shows up when the cards are being dealt ... you'll see a couple of cards dealt ... then a delay ... then the rest of the cards. It is also showing up right now as I'm keying this message in another tab. The keys are still going into the keyboard buffer but they aren't displayed right away.

Test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test ...
I decided to open a new IE window and see if the problem shows up here as well. It does not show up in another window ... only in another tab where the game is being played. There must be something that locks out the entire application while the scores are being updated.

The delay in 50 play occurs most often while it fills in the various hands after selecting the hold cards. Right now I am seeing delays in the 5 second range.

Interesting side note. I killed the tab with the game and the delays keep on growing. Now I see some 10 second delays while typing this note. Keep in mind that the game was under this IE7 window.

As another test I killed the IE7 window I was using to make the last post. I started up a new window and the delays are gone. So, it is tied to the window where the game was activated and does not disappear when the game tab is terminated.

I use Mozilla FireFox to play the Beta Games and most of the longest delays occur when I am playing Super Times Pay Poker. There are times when I play Multistrike Super Times Pay Poker or Ace Invaders on the regular site and I can experience up to 8 second delays. The sound keeps going like I won a huge jackpot while the meter crawls up to maybe 10 credits.

If it occurs for you on the free games, there is no tracking involved so it simply means your computer is having a hard time keeping up with the application. In such a case I would suggest having no other programs running and no other browser windows/tabs and you may have better luck.
