Single coin vs. max coin play

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Me too...hard to believe the grand total on that two cent spin machine was over 23,000 two cent units. I was really happy and surprised by that and it was certainly unexpected after the Royal on the quarter machine. Of course your mind wanders and makes you think what if it were quarters or even dollars. That would have put me right about even for the year or very close anyway. It still bothers me though that the slot attendant who has worked there twenty years said hits on the jackpots at the casino are almost always feast or famine. Either nobody is hitting or they all hit at once. I have seen that myself too many many times. Even when I hit the Royal on the quarters, I could see the machine lights flashing in the distance for two other players who also had hit jackpots.

Ending single coin dollar play test. Last session failed and it was a long one too with well over 4k hands played. No quads at all. Loss close to 200-. I realize these are short term results, but now that the pattern seems similar to what the quarters do sometimes, I will just play and hope for the best.

Bad news, Olds. I lost $40 in about 800 hands yesterday. I left my usual routine for a lounge, 8/5 JOB! Never again. At least we still got bang for the bucks. I had almost a two hour ride. But where the hell are our quads?

I think we both have entered one of those bad and hopefully short quadless or nearly so cycles. At least on Thanksgiving night the wife and I had a good time. After spending the entire day and a good part of the evening with my very elderly folks, we headed up for some wind down time and a brief overnight. We both lost, but we had a great and second Thanksgiving dinner up there on the house....well sort of on the house... . Also had nice early breakfast the next morning and headed back home for more family obligations. My next trip will be ultra small betting since I don't want to give back any more of the recent Royal money. At least I can still play the one bank of machines up there that pays 800 for 1 for the Royal for just a nickel bet. We also have tickets coming up for both the Commodores and Aretha Franklin. I don't know with the folks situations if we will be able to go, but they are more important of course. If experience and millions of hands count at all, these quadless cycles are usually a one time event and don't resurface for awhile. Hope for both of us that is the case. Best of luck on your next trip. Everyone stay healthy. Good health is still number one in my book.

Got waxed. Went to Horseshoe Hammonf for a $60 FP run with $800 of my own money. The 9/6 DDB progressive was at $4800. FP netted $40. Then banging away lost $400 quickly with no quads. Then 2 cheap quads and quad 4 hit - leaving me a couple hundred up. Had a moment of clarity that told me to go home. I ignored it and proceeded to donk it all away - including the $40 from the FP. Maybe next time.

Good news, Olds. I somehow gave Caesars a second chance. It paid off with a $19 quad six hands into FP. $25 FP netted $53, and only gave $2 back. I was so thrilled that I placed and won a $10 craps bet later at Borgata after entering a contest. Ate at six restaurants on a city promo, bringing home a superior hoagie. Wonderful that Caesars cooperated. It's a much classier venue than its shabby brother next door. But the waitresses look like crap in football jerseys on Casual Sunday.

PPP, for JOB I believe they say to budget three RFs, which is huge money. That would have meant $14,000 in your case. All of us are guilty of ignoring out moment of clarity. The important thing is to never repeat the mistake. It sure cost you enough once. Horse collared by Horseshoe. I would just go with triple my FP. Let the cards fall where they may. With $180 you can be much more philosophical.
