FAA, it's a helluva drive from the greater springfield area to Foxwoods/mohegan.   When i go its almost always with a friend or my brother who drives.  I can take the handivan but that requires a lot of advance notice (7 days) and won't work for a spontaneous (less than 24 hrs) urge to go and play.My last visit was around that horrible spate of weather in late january last month.....I timed it fortuitously though in that I was not snowed in and FORCED to get a room.     I actually had one of my better recent poker sessions.   My brother played in a foxwoods tournament last week and finished 3rd (out of 66 players).  Buy in was 60 bucks, and he won $360.   I was not able to accompany him on that day.....I may travel over there in April when Mohegan has its annual spring fling series of tournaments.....they are usually very good values for the serious amateur.

DaBurglar I don't believe that you last visited Foxwoods/Mohegan this past January 2016. As for it being a "helluva" drive from the greater Springfield area why is it then that you recently posted it being a 50 minute drive for you?
