6 Months To The Day It Happend Again
6 months ago today was playing a little nickel DW when I dumped the whole hand up popped a $400 royal!http://forum.videopoker.com/forum/forum ... D=7611Well today was not going well, down over $200 playing $1.25 a hand
mostly all 9/6 Jacks. I sat down at the 10 coin machines and raised my
be to $2.50. I was changing out the screen on any 3ok to BDLX looking
for a 4ok for the $200 I was down. Well I dump the 5 cards in Jacks and
up comes a 2k Royal! It was a shocker, The light on top got my eye first then I look down and the machine is locked up for a hand pay. I love Jacks and 75% of my royals come on this games year after year.Needless to say I got my $200 back.

WTG Wildman49!
You've accomplished one of the rarest feats twice! A throw away royal! The last on your bucketlist should be a sequential royal flush although most places stopped giving 50,000 credits for it.
Nice shot!

Amazing photograph. Throwaway RF! I would frame it! The only down side is the taxes. But we would all gladly pay.

Thanks for sharing. I agree, definitely worth framing.

well done....what casino was this, and where do you play most of the time? You certainly have a knack for catching royals it seems. I have been in such a horrible disgusting rut......since last summer, I have been royal-less with a crap load of 4 to a royal near misses, plus many many many other hands with 2 or 3 to a royal that in the old days (before 2009-2010) would often turn into a unexpected royal as I am banging away on the keys. This is no longer just a case of extended, extensive bad luck for me, something is specifically working against me, and all the other players, who are still trying to have fun in AC these dreadful days! There is just no other logical, reasonable explanation. Don't get me wrong, there are still people who hit royals (and other things in AC).....jeter is a good example. But even his success is sporadic, limited to one casino (harrahs-ac), and a particular specific style of play and games. I make it a point to spread out my play (when I do play) among the remaining AC casinos, and in all honesty, the last 5 years (since 2011) royals in AC at the TAJ, Resorts, BAllys, Golden Nugget and Borgata have been extremely rare, playing typical single line 99% games like 8/5 BP and 9/6 JOB or 9/7/5 DB or 9/6/5 DDB, and a few others.

If a player plays 2M hands of non wild games (my current pace of play extrapolated for 50 years...lol), this is about 1% likely to happen twice or more. Yikes.
And yeah, games with sequentials are hard to find. The only one I have ever played is the Aces and Eights at Circus Circus. A sequential is easier to pull off than a throwaway royal too.
Shocking hit again wildman!

DB, all my play is at Soaring Eagle, Mt. Pleasant MI.Thanks all, Royals come in for me at the 40,000 hand mark most of the time. Just don't understand so many of you guys going so many hands without the royal hitting. The other thing I can't understand is the 4 to the royal coming up so often. My Wife and I played over 4 hours last night and between us we had 4 to the royal 9 times on single line play. This is very common every trip to see this many. Are you guys out there seeing that many?We don't hit that last card very rare but see others hit them around me.

Great hit. My usual for a long session of 6 to 8 hours is only one or two shots at the Royal holding 4. Sometimes no shot at all.
