First of the year
After a crummy session playing .50 TB+ Game king, I was down to my last $100 and needing to head to work. So, I moved to the $1 5-Star Dream Card. I was hoping for a quick four of a kind. Or more likely, quickly bust.
Down to my last spin and was dealt an ace, no dream card. Stood up ready for the walk of shame, busted. Hit deal, and holy smokes.
After unlocking the machine, the attendant asked me to play it off. I couldn't - I had no credits and no money. I was 8 minutes late for work. The next day, as I usually do after a hand pay, I paid the mortgage, water, POA - all in cash.

Super hit. Couldn't have timed it better. Funny on how when one is down to the last bet, something comes up so often. It is almost like....hey wait, don't leave now look....

Outstanding hit! Congratulations on your good fortune. Your timing wasn't the issue. It was the daggone RNG and it paid you dividends. Late for work? Ummm.....OK!

Yeah, 8 minutes. Took over half an hour to process the W2G.

Excellent hit! Some casinos take a while to process them since they also want to look at the camera to rewind and see what transpired before for tampering purposes.
It is just me, but I would not risk being fired from the job over a video poker run, I hope your boss was not too upset.

Congratulations. I usually tally twentyfive pathetic walks of shame a year. The other visits balance the ledger, but it is truly a harrowing experience nonetheless. Still haven't fully embraced CS, but that is a personal shortcoming.
