Re: The Jacks or Better Blues...
Or ask me... unbelievable dud streaks without Royals, quads, and long stretches between full houses will finish you off in short order. That is why I like Deuces so much better. It may be me, but it just seems to keep you in the game longer and at least I can come home a winner by hitting things other than that elusive Royal.

JOB has the lowest variance. Of course, should I hit a wild RF or quad deuces for real money I will be converted.

FAA, I am curious, is that $67 loss larger than normal for your JoB
play? Do you play max coin? With DDB a $67 loss can and does happen in
20 minutes relatively frequently.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yes, almost double my normal bad day loss. I play max coin about 40% of hands. I've gotten more reckless in pursuit of the Progressive RF. It's rarely over $1,100 anyway, so I should probably curb my enthusiasm. The day before I lost $52 in twenty minutes before being gifted four dealt sixes on a $3 bet for $75. That's the last time I spend over five minutes in the High Roller room. 8/5 JOB dollars is absurd.

I play Jacks or Better for about the same reasons as well, to advance in
the casino club's tier membership program with the minimal bankroll
requirements as possible.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Glad it worked out for you. I am hamstrung by CET's notorious full pay $50 per TC requirement! It recently annoys me that I cannot find a machine or my choice is severely restricted by Diamonds and Seven Stars on the bank. Surely these masters of the universe can more efficiently use their time than to tie up the machines! Maybe they're taking a break in a safer haven for a few hours.

If you want to play any machine you want, get to the casino about 4:30 AM. I like to play real early, it's quiet, the crowds are gone and the smokers are hacking away in their hotel rooms.

Mens sana in corpore sano. My gambling hours are usually 11-5. Quite a different window altogether.
