I would gladly set up a personal challenge if both parties request it. However I don't feel a member vote would be appropriate.

Dancer never states anything over and over again, you do. He also never claims he wins by playing video poker alone , you give that misinformation here. It's exploiting casino promotions and slot clubs that put him over the top. Just a couple months ago you admitted here you didn't know that's how its done. Remember ? Mr. Video Poker Master, doesn't even know one of the basic principles of gambling for profit with video poker. I am not going to try and dig it up because it would be futile. You are just plain stubborn. You think you can reinvent the wheel. Video poker game variations have been solved for decades. You can't change that . There are a few other things you can change but its clearly pointless to repeat them to you. Your mind can't grasp the concepts.

The advertising on Dancers products is no different than the advertising that comes with any book, magazine, software, or whatever. Looking at his book VPW, it makes none of the outrageous claims that you insist are made. The Winners Guide's I have in front of me make no outrageous claims either. You know what the Winner's Guides are ? I seriously doubt it.

I joined this site a few years ago to try to improve myself. I subscribed to Gold about 13-14 months ago , mainly because Dancer was a contributor and I wanted to support the site because of that. I canceled the subscription 4 months early because of the lack of moderation here. In plain English, I canceled because your BS, bad advice, and misinformation is allowed anywhere and everywhere. You have posted many things that are dangerous to a new player coming on board. So that was my protest action. Besides Dancer, there are a few other guys / gals that are great sources of information and insight that contribute greatly to the forums. You sir, are definitely not one of them. Thank you. Finally there's at least one person here who understands the kind of misinformation that FP regularly spreads. Everybody else seems to be giving him a free pass.
Sorry to hear you are not pleased with my posts.  I am also sorry Mr. Dancer and his followers have such thin skin.   If you are going to put yourself out there as the world's greatest video poker player, you need to be prepared to back up your claims.I never claimed I was an expert at anything.  He attacked me because I created a purely  recreational strategy that a lot of forum members enjoyed and I might add never harmed anyone.  At the time, I clearly stated CS was recreational but some folks thought I was trying to take overtake Mr. Dancer as the resident expert.  Compared to the damage caused by players attempting to duplicate Mr. Dancer's claimed results, I am a rank amateur. Here's what I propose.  If Mr. Dancer is in agreement, I will hold up my part of this bargain.  I will not use Mr. Dancer's name or initials in any of my posts and he will not use mine.  I will not refer to him in any way that can be construed as directly in reference to him and he will do likewise.   If he is in disagreement with anything I post or I with him, we will state our opinions without questioning each others judgement, ability or motives.   We should be able to have constructive discussions on this forum without the personal attacks so that every opinion can be heard.  How about it Mr. Dancer?

You're missing the the whole issue. Knowledgeable people do not believe you are capable of having constructive discussions about video poker. The best solution for the site is for you to disappear for at least 6 months. I'm trying to find a way to arrange that.Webman says no vote --- so it's no vote. If you don't want a skills test, then we can take turns being gone. How about I disappear from here from April 15 - October 15 (or until Webman tells me you have agreed to stop posting on this site) and then you can disappear from October 15 - April 15? That way, any people who would like intelligent discussion here and hope to learn things will know when to show back up again. How about it?

what is more dangerous to a new player? believing unsubstantiated claims or receiving a warning that making money at VP is at best, a longshot. and, in today's world of reduced paytables and comps, the odds of winning gets smaller and smaller. every player should be aware of this. he didn't ask for it and probably does not want it, but some advice for FP. take a break from this forum, go fishing, take a walk, see a ballgame, anything. i have, as have others, it is refreshing.

Mr Dancer,
If you leave, please tell us which forum we could find you at. Then the admins can monitor the drop in usage until you return, and the uptick when you do.

I ignore others. I am not looking for pen pals.
That way, any people who would like

show back up again.  How about it?
I take it you do not agree with my proposal?  I didn't think you would.Frankly,
I'm bored with the entire subject.  Bob Dancer is a fictional character created
by a partnership between the gaming industry and a person who makes
money selling products and services to gamblers.  There is nothing wrong with this as long as you don't get caught up in the hype. The truth is the casino is there to take your money, not provide you with a nice six figure income.  When I came on this forum, he was
the only voice.  I asked for a separate recreational forum so we would have a
place for the average weekend player to discuss having fun with the game. Bob
Dancer jumped into our discussions of CS and has never stopped to hear
anything other than his own voice.I am going to take a vacation from posting anywhere except the Recreational and Casino Forums.  I will defend myself, but that's about it. How long my vacation lasts will depend totally on Bob Dancer himself.  If he stops calling me out personally, I will stay away long enough to make him happy.I'm pretty sure Bob will stick his nose into our recreational posts again.  He just can't get his head around the idea that not all video poker players have the same goal.  Recreational video poker exists, people sometimes enjoy doing things in life that don't have anything to do with profit and not everyone has to agree with you all the time...

Absolutely not tongue in cheap. If you go elsewhere, I think there would be a huge drop in traffic here.

If Bob leaves I'm sure the site will suffer. I log into read the post and learn. Not just Bob's but others that show they know what they are talking about. My game has improved not just from reading this site but also books, playing, and hand analysis. I enjoy many of the post and contributors.

No one that is trying to better there game can get behind anyone that believes in the CS. I do believe that recently some have realized the CS is not the best strategy. We all learn from our mistakes or we go broke.
I have learned to even back away from 8/6 or 9/5 JOB 100 play because because that 1.5% you give up will eat away at your bank roll.

You may not notice it if you paly a 300 coin through a machine but when you put 10,000 to 50,000 through you notice quick.
