One in every 60 RFs (on average) is sequential. 60*40K average RF cycle time yields around 2.4 million hands. However, $250K is a huge RF even for sequential. Now, all you need to do is play at 100K hands/ hour and it would be easy to knock off.

Problem with the sequential though is the staying in action. Slot bosses tend to cut too much off the fair pay scale to support the ultimate jackpot. Back in the late 90's, Stations would have a $1 DBonus progressive bank featuring the sequential royal for 50K. Problem was they'd cut the FH to 45 and flush to 30. More than adequately overcoming the .2% bottom line spike in total return.

This is not always true, although it is more often than not. The sequential RFs at Circus Circus for .25/.50 Aces and Eights have not been shorted.

Thanks for the info shadowman. I've seen the A & 8's game online but never in a casino. Remembering it seemed like an upper 99% return game. Do you have the full pay scales and bottom line on game? Thanks.

It's basically the same game as 8-5 BP. You can play the same strategy with only a .01% drop. The only difference in the paytable is 250 for 4 sevens, 400 for 4 eights and no bonus for quad 2-4. The payback is 99.78%. They also have a medium speed meter on the regular RF as well.

Another bonus feature I'd like to see:Multi-Strike Poker with FREE RIDE AdvanceDo you ever mutter "Thanks for nothing" when you're playing Multi-Strike Poker and a FREE RIDE pops up as the fifth card in a Four of a Kind?  With Free Ride Advance, that perfectly good FREE RIDE wouldn't go to waste.  Free Ride Advance rewards you with a chance to play the next two levels.Example:You're playing Jacks or Better.  The game deals an Ace and four non-face cards.  You hold the Ace, draw four cards and get one more Ace.  Your win activates the 2X hand and your FREE RIDE advances to the 4X hand.  Similarly, a FREE RIDE followed by a win on the 2X hand activates both the 4X and 8X levels.  Only the 1X and 2X hands are eligible for FREE RIDE Advance because a FREE RIDE on the 4X hand has nowhere else to go.It could be a player-activated option, giving the player a choice between the usual percentage of FREE RIDEs or fewer FREE RIDEs but more chances to reach the 8X level.Bob Dancer's students would definitely opt for the latter.   :)
