As I understood it, they didn't want casino employees to take advantage of positive games. Or at least that is what I thought I heard. We had FP All Americans and 10/7 DB in a few casinos for a while.

....to be with my fave casino buddies: my mom, sister and brother in law; and pool our money into a $5 triple play machine and hit a minimum of 20K.  We always end up splitting any profit......THAT, would be a dream for us all....nice topic, DaB ..Thanks

Got carried away with my dream; you're right, DaB.  Never saw that one, either.  I meant a TDB Game King....

I had heard that in AC, 100% or better theo VP games were not legal, yet we had them for awhile. Now, only progressives will get over 100% occasionally.

100%+ machines are still legal in NJ, but generally not offered. The Double Joker game at Caesars AC probably averages over 100% with perfect play after factoring the progressive since it starts at 99.91%.

That's how Illinois is or at least was. I don't understand the purpose of that restriction, unless maybe it's to keep them from having one or two high payback machines to skew their payback numbers (Illinois casinos are required to post their monthly payback percent)[/QUOTE]

Yeah, Illinois doesn't allow >100% machines currently. I'm not sure of the true purpose either, but here's one logical reason: Banning positive games ensures that things like "Full Pay Deuces Wild" can't be accidentally placed on machines like it was at Caesars Palace on a $100 3-credit machine about 10 years ago. Because when it's legally forbidden, IGT won't send you a machine with those kinds of paytables available.

Honestly, I never knew such a game existed, that has BOTH avenues to the 4000 credit payoff we all strive for:   5OAK  and  ROYALs.....

The best bartop at my local is set up like this. And definitely gets above 100% every now and again. Never got a big hit on it yet though.

And for the original post:

I did number 4 when playing one line...bah

As for some of my bucket list.

1) 20X dealt royal on DSTP.
2) Quad or better with >11X multiplier on DSTP (Current record is 15X Flush)
3) Dealt Royal resulting in a handpay
4) A progressive Royal Flush.

More realistic...
5) Any hand pay.
6) A quarter royal flush.

It doesn't start at $2000, otherwise it would be positive all the time. The bartop starts at $1000 at Hollywood St. Louis...but it probably gets up to $2k about 5% of the time (the royal meter is 0.5% coin-in). I've seen it that high a couple of times in the last couple of years in maybe a few dozen visits. It's more often between 1200-1600.

Resorts Tunica has the same progressive game on the floor as well.

I stopped in Resorts a few weeks ago and the place was almost empty. I like to play DDB and TDB at the $1 denomination so Resorts isn't the place to go for those games, I'll have to check out the .25 progressive next time I stop by there.
