alpax My best advice to you wildman.
I looked at the screenshots again and I picked up something. 35/8/5 Bonus Poker
Play this over Jacks or Better whenever possible, the long run
return is greater. Although you get 8 for Full House and 5 for Flush,
the 35 for 1 quads more than make up for it.
Al can you tell me the total payout for this game as I can not find it anywhere but know the JOB is 99.54% Also can you tell me do you play the same holds as JOB in this BP pay table?

It's 99.66%. It's my go-to game at Hollywood St. Louis, but no royals yet. :( Glad to see quite a few of your royals were on the full-pay games.
As for strategy it's really close, but one change is all 3 to a royal > 4 to a flush (i.e. no penalty exceptions). Another is AKQJ is always better than 2 a Royal. And another is KT suited should only be held if there are no flush penalties. The full strategy can be found here

wildman, Vman stated the biggest reason to play this game over Jacks or Better, the higher return.
The strategy is not much different either and the variance is low too. I would be playing if I had the opportunity.

Last Friday at Borgata, hit a 4k royal on !.00 JOB. Was down $600 at the time so wound up plus $3,400. Now ahead about 1k for the year. Crazy how royals disappear for well over a year, then 3 in the last 6 weeks. Think I will give it a rest for a while.

Congrats Car, nothing wrong with taking a rest. That, and milk, do a body (and mind) good.

TL, I think you've said that you have taken some time off from VP after having a good run as well. It sure is easier to take a break after a good run rather than a bad run.

Congratulations Car. Riding it out indeed. Anybody who has the enduring faith to continue playing after having lost $600 on innocuous JOB deserves at least a straight flush! It would have recouped half the loss. I have been lax in my Borgata drop in plan. I clearly don't know what I am missing! I thought I had a great day Sunday. I won $130 on dollar JOB at Caesars in an hour flat.

had 2 bad trips in a row, July 4th lost $500 and July 5th lost $600. That
put me in the red for the year. I felt like its was time for a break.
In the last 6 weeks I went just a few times to play off so free play and then head to work. Got myself back to even for the year doing that. It was
time to do some of them honey do list jobs I been putting off since its
summer and its been a HOT one at that.Last week I cut out 4
hours early from work as they wanted to cut some hours.I headed out to
the casino for some play. I don't play what I call pot shot poker very
often maybe 1 or 2 times a month. It's where I play $1.25 a hand then
max to $5.00 when the systems I am playing tell me.Started with
9/6 Jacks playing $1.25 max betting $5.00 on any 3 of a kind. I playing
20 coin machines so 5 coins max to 20. Nothing going good, played 6
machines no 4 of a kinds even at $1.25. Was a bit surprised I normally
hit many but was one of them days. After an hour down $200.I move to bar tops for NSUD play. Playing $1.25 changing out the screen to $1.00 for max $5.00 bet on any four of a kind like Phil's CS system calls for. After a few Wild Royals on quarters, I got to the $5.00 bet and held 1 deuce and the other 3 hit.The pot shot hit at the $5.00 bet as most the time you will hit them at the $1.25 bet. This is the 4th time I have done this and it came after taking a much needed break from the game. Left up $650 and back in the black for the year! Heading out to the casino with the wife tonight for gas card day. Going to play tight tonight Nickel play and enjoy the deuce hit. Good luck everyone the second half of the year!

That is always a nice shock. Holding a lone deuce and nailing the other 3. This happened to me once on the bonus deuces at the Borgata and I got the ace kicker as well. on .50 denom for 1k.Congrats Wildman

I had 6 in the month what a lot of fun. Might never happen again, one has to think back to them times when in a dry spell.
