My Upcoming AC Visit

As I stated earlier I plan to be in AC most of the time between July 20 thru the 27........Video Poker will only be a primary activity on the Day I arrive, Wednesday the 2Oth, and on Monday, july 25th.    The rest of the time will be focused exclusively on Live N/L Holdem play, with at least several (3 or as many as 6) Tournaments scheduled at the Borgata, Balls and Golden Nugget, and Cash Game play on Saturday and Sunday nights (when hopefully the inebriated crowd offers up some easy pickens lol)!!!Therefore I am reserving this thread right now for STORIES, but this time I intend to post my LIVE POKER play stories and results, and, if I happen to get LUCKY in the video poker I am able to squeeze in between the Live Poker I will post the Video Poker stories as well!

With all due respect, why would you even consider playing video poker in AC when seem totally convinced the games are rigged?  Have you changed your mind?

After seeing this run while lurking on VMB, it should erase doubts about the integrity of video poker in AC.

The first group is nice but there are two pictures of each jackpot, looks more impressive than it actually was.

Good luck at the poker tables, I play quite a bit myself here in Vegas, I will never forget when I flopped quad deuces and took this guys stack while he had pocket aces. Of course I got a lot of heat from him by check calling him and re-raising him all in on the river. That was a 5-10 NL game.

That was a 5-10 NL game.why did you get heat from him?   sounds to me you just played that monster hand of yours to perfection (and of course I am sure you realize how "LUCKY" you were by him catching pocket rockets! lol)Sounds like he was just the typical amateur who believes anytime you get pocket aces you should "automatically" win!Anyway, VERY NICE win, Drawingdead!!!

I am still certain that there is something "not Normal" with AC video poker compared with Nevada and other locales, and I have talked about this many times.....the state of OVERSIGHT and regulation (or lack of it) in AC is at the core of my continued doubts, and that is why, if you notice Phil, I stated I will "only" be playing the day I arrive (which is to say, a couple hours MAX because I usually arrive around 4-5 pm, check in, eat, relax for a while and I got to bed by 10 PM the first night so as to be rested.....that only allows a MAX of 2 hours tops).....and......The Monday, july 25th VP activity, will probably be anywhere from 4-6 hours TOTAL of video poker action, depending on the weather and what not.....plus I have plans of a personal nature to meet a good friend and his son.   What video poker I play a portion of it might be done with him.....I did do well at VP my last trip (which is now over 6 weeks ago which is a long time for me to be away from AC, but will probably be the new NORM as I have become more involved in increased activity with my online business and consulting....the economy is definitely improved somewhat than previous recent years.......

DB rolling literally and figuratively today in AC, had some awesome hits.😎🇺🇸😎I need to update everyone, sorry for the tardiness but the political turmoil and continued world events make the Everything * Anything section the first place I go these days.....My plans were slightly altered, I briefly have returned home from AC on Saturday (july 23) but I am going BACK to AC NOW, today, July 25, in about 1 hour from now.......Family obligations compelled me to make a brief sojourn back home in the midst of my "trip"....Yes, I did in fact have several (actually more than several) really GOOD hits in AC at Video Poker between Wednesday July 20  and Friday night, July 22!      All total I finished in the positive for the first half of this trip by about $600 or so......that includes paying ALL expenses and costs (bus, food room fees etc)!!!So now the second half begins.......I did play one tourney and about 4 hours total of cash game play last week and finished up a measly 25 bucks but it beats losing.....this second part of the same trip, starting today Monday, will see more live poker than VP, especially after I finished UP last week!  I seriously do NOT want to give it back via video poker!When I return from THIS portion of my trip I will try and post some pictures I did take via Instagram......Note to JETER:     ANYTIME I send you a pic via cellphone, feel free to post it on this site if you are able, I do not mind.
